Noah did not find favor/grace because he built the Ark.
Noah built the Ark because he first found favor/ grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Its not what we do for the Lord that gives us grace and God's approval.
Its grace given to us that enables us to do for the Lord what he wants because we have His approval.
