We, at least me has come to see to be dead to me the first birth natural person daily, to be alive to God in God's Spirit and Truth, known as the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit that led Jesus first. HUMAN SPIRIT

The human spirit is the very breath of Almighty God and was breathed into man at the beginning of Gods creation.

The human spirit includes our intellect, emotions, fears, passions, and creativity

When Adam sinned, his ability to fellowship with God was broken; he did not die physically that day but he died spiritually

Upon the acceptance of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God joins with our own spirit in ways we cannot comprehend.

He has given us His Spirit... 1 John 4:13 =This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us.

When we allow the Spirit of God to lead our lives, the {“Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children Rom. 8:16. AS CHILDREN OF GOD, WE ARE NO LONGER LED BY OUR OWN SPIRIT BUT BY GOD’S SPIRIT WHICH LEADS US TO ETERNAL Life.

thank you for explaining so clearly. this is helping me in my trouble of the past catching wanting me to go back, doing the same. All the lies in my head, only one time... just little... you make some one else happy if you go back... and so on. To remind myself of what bible say and what Jesus has done for me is the only way to not fall for that.

It is a good start to identify the flesh and its sinful lusts. Step 2 is to identify the "delight in the law of God" that exists in the inner man (Ro 7:22) and is at war with the flesh (Ro 7:23). Step 3 is to understand that these things are true for you only because you are in Christ and Christ is in you (Ro 8:9-10). Step 4 is to accept that "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" (Ro 8:1). And the final step is to learn to walk in the Spirit so as to not fulfil the lusts of the flesh (Ga 5:16-17).

hopefully you stand, I hope for God to reveal to you, even if you don't, God will not punish you as religious people do, I used to be very religious, went through that and was beat up, so bad and so stressed out as never ever being good enough for good to continue to love me. When in truth it was that religion that did that, to me, that I did not see and was put under Law to not do.
What did I do??????????????????? oh yeah as Paul talks of in Romans 7, yes experienced it, got trapped in it, trying to not to do it again and what continued? Yes the sin I now hated, had control of me. It was me trying to not do it, that deceived me. I had to learn new in what God wants from me and not forcefully ever.
I saw this analogy, anyone can lead a horse to water, can anyone make that horse drink? I saw what religion does, it manipulates and forces people to follow them in religion and be a person better than others. As if God will be impressed over it!

Willingness, is what God seeks from people. that is what free will is. Just take a look at Jesus in that Garden of Gethsemane, When he asked Father? Is there any other way?
Then said nevertheless your will Father not mine!
Wow, I see for me personally to be willing to even die presently whenever God says it is time not me or anyone else's. That is belief beyond any flesh nature understanding

Since we are free from the power of sin, we can choose to "mortify" the deeds of the flesh. I think this can be done through a type of "starvation" if we make no provision for the flesh, those deeds should die off from starvation. For example the person who have difficulty with alcohol may avoid going into bars.

hearing and following the gospel , the things Jesus taught us will crucify the lusts of the flesh as we focus on following after him and is actually what we are set free from the dominion and control sin has over us to pull us into sin

If we just stick with Jesus and his teachings it’s designed to our our flesh to death and fill us with spirit and life that quickens

If we focus on Jesus as the gospel presents him to us he will bring us to life again

As I see it, just love and be aware of. Sometimes, people we know, need to become people we knew.
I was an alcoholic 40 years ago now. I had to leave that state I was in back then. I moved away and still continued in a drinking problem as well as was wanted in that state, for driving drunk, for the third time.
That was before driving drunk became a felony
I needed, seeing drinking was not beneficial to me and by God saw in me why I was the drunk I was. My sister died at age 18, on an overdose of drugs. I was 14 then. It was me not accepting this tragedy, that got me to drinking, not accept her as dead!
God from within me got me to see it, and I accepted it, my sister did die physically.

Then I saw to accept this also. She either is saved by God (As people do not see that as true) Or not saved by God.
I saw Jeremiah 29:11 and I believe God only wants what is best for each person, even though people make the wrong choices to learn from, therefore stop beating ourselves up over making the wrong choice, even if doing it again. begin new again in trusting God to show you how to say not to unrighteousness.
God, to this day has never left me or forsaken me, Yet many a times, I have felt like he has, going through troubles also as all do go through. Therefore God will not leave anyone, it can and does while in pain and troubles feel as if has and in truth has not. Therefore continue in belief (Faith) to God all in all, and one will leave the trash in the trash can and not return to that trash can
I see this:
I was living out of a trash can, getting all the scraps I can. Then a king/Queen betrothed me. I got pulled out of the trash can and got married
I see I do not care to even have another thought of those now gone days. I eat from the King/Queens table now
As you and others choose willingly to believe God too, will see and do new in trust only to God to get them through whatever it is they are going through
Any persons mind will do whatever their mind set focuses on the most
As I know this is true with me and suspect true with all people

Yes, to let some people I know to be people I knew. you are really right about that. I have not see it in this way, but it is so true in my case. I have to let go, not listen to the voices of how I make some one disappointed if I not let go and do what I did for them before. In winter is more easy then I have my snowboarding and snowmobile that gives me adventure and focus. I did not believe it would be so easy to lose focus as it became this summer. But at the same time, based on experience, I have realized how important it is not to lose focus on living close to God.

This I see, in everything I do or anywhere I go, to look for Gold Nuggets from God'
