Scholars have determined that there are over 300 ( at the minimum) prophecies in the Old Testament which foretold the first coming of Jesus. On the road to Emmaus the following event took place:

[Luk 24:25-27 KJV] 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

This is one of my favorite Bible studies. If you spent 20 minutes a day with a reliable Bible version and a good concordance how many of these prophecies could you find.

Prophesy
[Mic 5:2 KJV] 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is] to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting.

Fulfillment
[Mat 2:6 KJV] 6 And thou Bethlehem, [in] the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Our Lord unto his Lord is risen and risen by his Lord, now our lord.
My savior is alive to never die ever again, the crucifixion is done for us all to believe he is risen by Father for us all to choose to either believe it or not
Beleive God, receive from God, truth he did it for you too

Authorized (King James) Version 1 John 2:1-4

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins ofthe whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

What are the commandments, the Ten or the greatest of the Ten?

It is Love is it not, to love all, not just those one chooses to, is it all? whether others believe God or not is it not, we are to see willingly love all? How can anyone do that, without taking away anyone else's free choice away? love all, this is amazing to me to see God has done that in Son for us and continues to do that through Son Jesus for us, does God not?
I have decided and I am sticking to my belief, thank you Father and love all as called in God's type of love over this world's (1 Cor 13:4-7) ask for the imputation of God's Love and see enew thank you, if god gives that to you? I say "If" because God knows everyone's motive to ask in asking as James reveals in James

  1. James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  2. James 1:6
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  3. James 4:2
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye asknot.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  4. James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
God is righteous all the time as righteous is God all the time

Living Bible 1 Cor 15

Now let me remind you, brothers, of what the Gospel really is, for it has not changed—it is the same Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then and still do now, for your faith is squarely built upon this wonderful message; and it is this Good News that saves you if you still firmly believe it, unless of course you never really believed it in the first place.
I passed on to you right from the first what had been told to me, that Christ died for our sins just as the Scriptures said he would, and that he was buried, and that three days afterwards he arose from the grave just as the prophets foretold. He was seen by Peter and later by the rest of “the Twelve.” After that he was seen by more than five hundred Christian brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died by now. Then James saw him, and later all the apostles. Last of all I saw him too, long after the others, as though I had been born almost too late for this. For I am the least worthy of all the apostles, and I shouldn’t even be called an apostle at all after the way I treated the church of God.
But whatever I am now it is all because God poured out such kindness and grace upon me—and not without results: for I have worked harder than all the other apostles, yet actually I wasn’t doing it, but God working in me, to bless me. It makes no difference who worked the hardest, I or they; the important thing is that we preached the Gospel to you and you believed it.
But tell me this!
Since you believe what we preach, that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying that dead people will never come back to life again? For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ must still be dead. And if he is still dead, then all our preaching is useless and your trust in God is empty, worthless, hopeless; and we apostles are all liars because we have said that God raised Christ from the grave, and of course that isn’t true if the dead do not come back to life again. If they don’t, then Christ is still dead, and you are very foolish to keep on trusting God to save you, and you are still under condemnation for your sins; in that case, all Christians who have died are lost! And if being a Christian is of value to us only now in this life, we are the most miserable of creatures.
But the fact is that Christ did actually rise from the dead and has become the first of millions who will come back to life again someday.
Death came into the world because of what one man (Adam) did, and it is because of what this other man (Christ) has done that now there is the resurrection from the dead. Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, being members of his sinful race, and wherever there is sin, death results. But all who are related to Christ will rise again. Each, however, in his own turn: Christ rose first; then when Christ comes back, all his people will become alive again.
After that the end will come when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having put down all enemies of every kind. For Christ will be King until he has defeated all his enemies, including the last enemy—death. This too must be defeated and ended. For the rule and authority over all things has been given to Christ by his Father; except, of course, Christ does not rule over the Father himself, who gave him this power to rule. When Christ has finally won the battle against all his enemies, then he, the Son of God, will put himself also under his Father’s orders, so that God who has given him the victory over everything else will be utterly supreme.
If the dead will not come back to life again, then what point is there in people being baptized for those who are gone? Why do it unless you believe that the dead will someday rise again?
And why should we ourselves be continually risking our lives, facing death hour by hour? For it is a fact that I face death daily; that is as true as my pride in your growth in the Lord. And what value was there in fighting wild beasts—those men of Ephesus—if it was only for what I gain in this life down here? If we will never live again after we die, then we might as well go and have ourselves a good time: let us eat, drink, and be merry. What’s the difference? For tomorrow we die, and that ends everything!
Don’t be fooled by those who say such things. If you listen to them you will start acting like them. Get some sense and quit your sinning. For to your shame I say it; some of you are not even Christians at all and have never really known God.
But someone may ask, “How will the dead be brought back to life again? What kind of bodies will they have?” What a foolish question! You will find the answer in your own garden! When you put a seed into the ground it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it “dies” first. And when the green shoot comes up out of the seed, it is very different from the seed you first planted. For all you put into the ground is a dry little seed of wheat or whatever it is you are planting, then God gives it a beautiful new body—just the kind he wants it to have; a different kind of plant grows from each kind of seed. And just as there are different kinds of seeds and plants, so also there are different kinds of flesh. Humans, animals, fish, and birds are all different.
The angels in heaven have bodies far different from ours, and the beauty and the glory of their bodies is different from the beauty and the glory of ours. The sun has one kind of glory while the moon and stars have another kind. And the stars differ from each other in their beauty and brightness.
In the same way, our earthly bodies which die and decay are different from the bodies we shall have when we come back to life again, for they will never die. The bodies we have now embarrass us, for they become sick and die; but they will be full of glory when we come back to life again. Yes, they are weak, dying bodies now, but when we live again they will be full of strength. They are just human bodies at death, but when they come back to life they will be superhuman bodies. For just as there are natural, human bodies, there are also supernatural, spiritual bodies.
The Scriptures tell us that the first man, Adam, was given a natural, human body but Christ is more than that, for he was life-giving Spirit.
First, then, we have these human bodies, and later on God gives us spiritual, heavenly bodies. Adam was made from the dust of the earth, but Christ came from heaven above. Every human being has a body just like Adam’s, made of dust, but all who become Christ’s will have the same kind of body as his—a body from heaven. Just as each of us now has a body like Adam’s, so we shall some day have a body like Christ’s.
I tell you this, my brothers: an earthly body made of flesh and blood cannot get into God’s Kingdom. These perishable bodies of ours are not the right kind to live forever.
But I am telling you this strange and wonderful secret: we shall not all die, but we shall all be given new bodies! It will all happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For there will be a trumpet blast from the sky, and all the Christians who have died will suddenly become alive, with new bodies that will never, never die; and then we who are still alive shall suddenly have new bodies too. For our earthly bodies, the ones we have now that can die, must be transformed into heavenly bodies that cannot perish but will live forever.

When this happens, then at last this Scripture will come true—“Death is swallowed up in victory.” O death, where then your victory? Where then your sting? For sin—the sting that causes death—will all be gone; and the law, which reveals our sins, will no longer be our judge. How we thank God for all of this! It is he who makes us victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So, my dear brothers, since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord’s work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection.

yet, they denied Jesus as the Messiah, not all, but enough that God took this over to the Gentile without Law given them first to believe, receive and be new in love and mercy given them for all. which was to make them (the first chosen) jealous. Yet it has not done that. it has got Gentiles under Law, in thought hey you! you couldn't do it, but I can.
Our clothes are rags, and we the Gentile get given the righteousness of God in risen Son to us, getting God's righteous clothes put on us, and we go and take off the ragged clothes off the first chosen and put them on over the righteous clothes God gave to us in Son for us, amazing deception from evil to see y'all
yes Prophecy fulfilled

Living Bible Matt 5:17

“Don’t misunderstand why I have come—it isn’t to cancel the laws of Moses and the warnings of the prophets. No, I came to fulfill them and to make them all come true.

John 19:30

Living Bible

When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished,” and bowed his head and dismissed his spirit.

Hebrews 9:14-17

Living Bible

just think how much more surely the blood of Christ will transform our lives and hearts. His sacrifice frees us from the worry of having to obey the old rules and makes us want to serve the living God. For by the help of the eternal Holy Spirit, Christ willingly gave himself to God to die for our sins—he being perfect, without a single sin or fault. Christ came with this new agreement so that all who are invited may come and have forever all the wonders God has promised them. For Christ died to rescue them from the penalty of the sins they had committed while still under that old system.
Now, if someone dies and leaves a will—a list of things to be given away to certain people when he dies—no one gets anything until it is proved that the person who wrote the will is dead. The will goes into effect only after the death of the person who wrote it. While he is still alive no one can use it to get any of those things he has promised them.

Now see why he had to die first?

A portion of that incident is one of the New Testament's very useful texts for
showing that Jesus' crucified dead body was restored to life during the third
day rather than after the third day was over and done with.

Luke 24:21-24 . .We had hoped that he was the one who was going to
redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.
In addition, some of our women amazed us. They went to the tomb early
this morning but didn't find his body. They came and told us that they had
seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. Then some of our
companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but
him they did not see.

Ps 16:8-10 . . I have set The Lord always before me. Because he is at my
right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue
rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to
sheol, nor will you let your Holy one see decay.

That prophecy is very useful in an unexpected way, to wit: it connects to
Acts 2:25-30 which, in so many words, declares Jesus is one of David's
biological descendants.

" Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David,
that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to
him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up
Christ to sit on his throne . . ."

So then, if Jesus really is one of David's blood relatives, then of course Jesus
is also one of Adam's blood relatives too because David descended from Adam.

" From one man He made every nation of men" (Acts 17:26)

[Mic 5:2 KJV] 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is] to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting.

I’ve never heard it called or heard of the road to emmaus , but The very thing you are talking about opens up our eyes and ears to the bibke like no other study to begin to hear about Christ hindreds of years beforehand foretold by those prophets the men of God who foretold of Jesus .

many years back I noticed this that Peter says after being filled with the spirit and begins speaking as moves by the spirit and began to test it through study

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:19-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I had heard of a few obvious prophesied like this one

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Of course then we see it was about Jesus later

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But I wanted to test peters statement that all the prophets that had ever spoken from the beginning of the world had foretold of the days of Christ and his eternal kingdom they were experiencing at that time. If Moses and the prophets had foretold it all as peters saying because o thought it would be a great informative study

and it is exactly like you say there you begin to see Christ in all the Old Testament prophecies that don’t really make alot of sense by themselves before you know about Jesus and the gospel even random things

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?…….The assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: They pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: They look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, And cast lots upon my vesture.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭22:16-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that made no real sense just a song I’d suffering and deliverance until we later here the gospel about Christ and see it happen to him then we realize wow , David also was a prophet foretelling of Christ and his kingdom his suffering telling of the gospel even then

Then even the events like this that happened in the gospel we can begin to notice in prophecy

“And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭13:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Again this really doesn’t make sense until Jesus is arrested and his disciples scatter and he’s wounded in his hands and killed. And then after Jerusalem is destroyed. But after we hear that part it makes perfect sense and we can see it’s always been spoken even long before it haooened and even now king after it haooened we still speak of Jesus and the gospel and they were speaking of it king before it happened yesterday today and forever Christ has always been present in the word of God and the gospel was always foretold then fulfilled and now preached

It’s really an amazing study and tells us why we see repeatedly Moses and th e prophets quotes envoked in the nt by men like Jesus and Paul and Peter

“Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: that Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭26:22-23‬ ‭

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them,

Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He just showed them what the ot writings were really about from Moses law to the prophets and psalms

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They had been hearing of the messiah and gospel for ages in prophecy and figure even to the end of the prophets

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:

and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”
‭‭Malachi‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a few hundred years later after a few thousand years of promises

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Which shall prepare thy way before thee.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Yes have you noticed Paul says something very similar about his doctrine ?

This is what Jesus said welder before he died to them

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after he rose he reveals more to them about what he’s said

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, ( the ot , the law and prophets and psalms is all that was written at this point ) and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this is what Paul chosen later of those witnesses said

“Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

that Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead,

and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭26:22-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And when he preached Jesus he used the law and prophets for the argument for Christs truth and fulfillment tbat he is the messiah promised in tbe ot he had come

“And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Peter also says that every prophet had foretold of the days of the gospel it’s really the most expansive and interactive study I’ve ever heard of it connects to everything

there are over 300 ( at the minimum) prophecies in the Old Testament which foretold the first coming of Jesus.
that's a gross underestimate.
there are probably over 300 in Genesis alone

True, I saw a source that estimated 429 but as I said there at least 300. I don’t know if I can find them all but everyone I find will bring me closer to Jesus.

Ps 110:1 . . The Lord said to my lord; "Sit at My right hand, till I make
your enemies your footstool."

There's two distinctly different Hebrew words translated by the English word
"lord" in that passage

The first is Jehovah (a.k.a. Yahweh) which is a name restricted to God's use.
(Isa 42:8)

The second is 'adown, which is a common word for superiors and/or seniors
in the Old Testament; both human and divine. For instance: Sarah referred
to her husband as 'adown (Gen 18:12) The people of Heth addressed
Abraham as 'adown (Gen 23:5-6) Abraham's trusted servant referred to his
master as 'adown (Gen 24:12) Rachel addressed her father Laban as 'adown
(Gen 31:35) Jacob addressed Esau as 'adown (Gen 33:8) And God is spoken
of as 'adown too. (Isa 1:24 and Isa 3:1 et al.)

Jesus said Ps 110:1 pertains to Christ (Matt 22:42-45) who his audience
believed was David's descendant. But in ancient Jewish culture, fathers were
superior to their descendants; so Jesus asked his audience how it could be
that David's son would outrank him.

Well, the thing is; biblical preeminence relative to primogeniture is
transferable, i.e. it can be taken from a senior and bestowed upon a junior,
for example: Ishmael to Isaac (Gen 20:11-12) Esau to Jacob (Gen 25:23)
Reuben to Joseph (Gen 49:3-4 & 1Chr 5:1) and Manasseh to Ephraim. (Gen
48:13-14)

Mic 5:2 . . But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah-- too little to be among
the clans of Judah --from you one will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.
His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity

NOTE: I believe it would be a mistake to assume Micah's prediction is saying
"the one" is an eternal being when a better take on it would be that his
birth was scheduled before the world began. (1Pet 1:18-21 & Rev 13:8)

Anyway: although the Bible gives the location of Jesus' birth, it doesn't give
a date for it. However, the Bible does give the date of his official presentation
beginning with Zech 9:9 which says:

"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See,
your king comes to you: righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on
a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."

That prediction was fulfilled during what is customarily known as Palm
Sunday. (Matt 21:1-10, John 12:12-16) The date of that event can be
deduced with a pretty fair degree of accuracy from Dan 9:25 in combination
with the 1st and 2nd chapters of the book of Nehemiah.

* If perchance someone out there wants to give this a try, be sure and use
prophetic years of 360 days in your arithmetic instead of calendar years of
364¼ or the result won't come out right. Also; be very sure to begin your
reckoning with Artaxerxes' decree to rebuild Jerusalem rather than Cyrus'
decree to rebuild the Temple as those two projects were not concurrent.
