Hello again, Judy, and yes, here (<= link) is an example.

I am showing you a couple of things here, actually... .:D

If not more. .;):D

This would be for directing someone's attention to a specific post.

You could just copy the url at the top of the page and supply the forum and page number but then the other person is left looking for the specific post in question on the page they are directed to. This way, when you click that upper right-hand post number, it changes the url (you can watch it happen if you keep your eye on the address bar as you do it) to direct to the specific post. I could have just put the lnk in as the HTML https://christianchat.com/suggestions/create-an-faq-for-newbies-please.216176/#post-5355476 but I find that messy looking, and sometimes my browser converts it to something tidier looking to begin with = create an FAQ for newbies, please. - Christian Chat Rooms & Forums but I find the shortest link more appealing so I create my own. To prevent the link from turning the standard blue I apply any and all font effects to the text before I insert the url.
I think if I understand what you are trying to say is that to direct someone to another post I can make a link. Right? see here for an example. That it? Again thanks, for your help. Neater for sure

This is needed, i have a question. Is posting threads only for paying members? I posted 2 today, and both have been deleted. The first being a genuine question about women preaching, the second was asking why it got deleted.

It is not deleted, only pending. New threads are held for moderator approval. This is not to slight you, but to protect the forum from a troll flooding every subforum with thread spam.

The moderator has said before that he checks the forum first thing in the morning and when he gets home after his job. I bet he'll clear your thread in just a little bit.
