I am somewhat new to this forum.
I am a Messianic Jew and believer in Yeshua.
I look at Scripture through a Messianic Jewish lense.
Shalom

Welcome to CC, Koberstein, great to have you joining us! I also have Jewish ancestry and am happy to say I converted my Orthodox Jewish dad into becoming a Messianic Jew. He actually went all out and being a little eccentric, in a good way, he had Jesus signs and messages all around his house. His home happened to be the cornerstone of the whole neighborhood on a busy street, lol. Now I'm on a busy street doing the same thing. God bless you and your family and nice to see you've joined us in the Threads🙏✝🔯

What made you believe that Jesus is Messiah? According to the stats less than one percent of all the Jews believe.

My late father's family were Jewish immigrants from Germany that migrated here during the mid 1700's. My mother is a Christian Gentile.
I accepted and believed in Yeshua when I was going through a very low point in my life in 1999.

I came across a Messianic book I started to read and then I realized that I needed Yeshua Hamashiach at this very low point in my life that I was going through. I was homeless, bankrupt, and was going through a divorce in 1999. Adonai reached down to a slave like me in a pit with the good news of Yeshua and lifted me out. Yes I agree with you less than 1% of the Jewish population believe and acknowledge Yeshua. We as Jews are to be a blessing to other people and to all the nations. The nearest Messianic synagogue is about 80 miles from me. So I downstream my biblical teachings from LoveIsrael with Baruch Korman. I also have my Complete Jewish Bible and the Jewish Didache that I study from.
Shalom
