We here is Florida are about to take another hurricane hit. Looks like the eye will hit around Tampa Bay, Please pray that the eye hits south of Tampa bay itself, This will lessen the amount of water being pushed by the wind into the bay which will lessen flooding in that metro area. Evacuations are already in motion so this one looks pretty bad.

Lord, I pray that you dissipate this storm and send it to a dry place or send it out to sea. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen

You are in Florida?
We are praying for you brother.
I hope you are in a safe place. I read that your governor has a state of emergency for most counties.

I just listened to THIS<< and learned a lot.

Please stay safe and keep us informed as you are able.

Please stay safe. Evacuate if they call for it. I don't know if this is wrong to say so please rebuke me if I'm talking out of line but many people don't evacuate emergency situations who are praying for a miracle or natural disasters to pass over.

I believe God wants us to make prudent decisions as well.

Oh Father! The times we are in! All the trials that are being let loose on earth!! This is all your plan! But where Your children are, there You are! Reach out and draw those who are crying out for You in this hour! Touch and draw them close as decisions are made to love You, follow You, and surrender everything to You! Thank you! Amen.

Yep, we are in North east Florida - Jacksonville. We came through virtually untouched. Just 1 - 2 inches of rain and a few stroing wind gusts. Just a few miles with these storms make a very big difference in how hard one gets hit. At St. Augustine just 25 miles south had much more rain and very strong wind gusts. Moderate flooding. We stayed up until 2am watching forecast updates.
The folks from Tampa south and Orlando did well to leave. They took a hard hit. Because the eye hit several miles south of the bay, the bay did not flood. It's called a reverse storm surge where the wind direction blows the water that is naturally in the bay out to sea. I saw one photo on the news and the bay looked like a giant mud puddle.

We came through just fine though so many thanks for the prayers.

I thank our good Lord that you are well. I got extra concerned this afternoon when I saw some videos of tornadoes that came from the storm. There were reports of 26!
I was going to ask you how you are doing, so thank you for sharing this.

Those tornadoes were in deep south fl. Mostly in the Miami are to West Palm are give or take 100 miles or so. None here in Northeast fl.

I had no idea that so many came from hurricanes. Those alone can do incredible damage. I've been saved through 2 major ones up here in the mountain state where they aren't nearly as common. However, I just learned the the section they call "tornado alley " has shifted from Ohio to our West Virginia..

The numbers of tornadoes surprised even the in state weather pros. There were about 125 warnings but I still haven't seen a report on how many actually tornadoes touched down.

Waterspouts on the other hand are not all that uncommon.
