Thought crime

My parents emigrated from England just before my 13th birthday. They did me a great favour. George Orwell was out by about 40 years, but thought crime is now being punished in England. No wonder it is descending into a 3rd world country. This is the nation of Wycliffe, the Wesleys, George Whitefield, Hudson Taylor, Charles Spurgeon and other heroes of the faith. Now it is the nation that is spiritually, morally and financially bankrupt.

When I was in college it was at an elite university, a lot of very arrogant atheists and they mocked many Bible stories. The idea of someone being arrested for praying in their home (Daniel) and being thrown into a lion's den for this was one of those things that was so absurd it was obviously false. So I love seeing that the Bible is true, that what has been is what will be, and that there is no new thing under the sun.

People in England till attend the Anglian church but as Cslewis said its sermons are not sufficient for the body of christ. He also said that some sheep will enter the gate regardless of the sheperd(preacher)
It's no wonder they've made Streat preaching illegal the churhs have been converted to night clubs and private residences. But regardless what is happening to the churches in England I'm sure there are Christians there as God's elect are everywhere from the tundra in the north pole to the highest mountains New Guinea
