I like this and it's something i relate to, especially the second part 'to enjoy God'.
This is the Meaning of Life question essentially.

Piper said that the chief end of man is to glorify God BY enjoying Him forever. He also said God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.

It certainly is Eli1, we were created to enjoy unbroken relationship with God, which brings him glory etc etc. But thankfully in Christ we can :-

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:32)

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen (Rom 11:36).

I listened to a tape of his in which he was talking about how to drink a glass of orange juice to the glory of God. It was quite enlightening.

“And do they get this from scripture?”

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:2-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If ye love me, keep my commandments. ….He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:15, 21, 23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To love our fellow human beings who gos also created and lives like he does us really is what we are commanded to do and is our ultimate purpose

thou shalt not kill lie cheat ect is a negative way of saying “ love each other and don’t harm one another “ the gospel is a proactive teaching of love Christs brand and form of love that of course isnt going to kill and cheat and abuse and commit adultery or worship false gods ect

but also is going to help each other when there’s a need we can meet as Jesus teaches us not to pass by and ignore the needs around us but to help and be “Good Samaritans “ towards others and relate to other people through that spirit we are born through bekieving in the gospel
