I do not know anyone so dumb as to follow that deliberate illogical rabbit trail for your amusement.

And, if you dared to answer him logically?
He will then claim you did not answer his question.

He is like a hologram that dares you to punch him.

The Jews are also a part of the WHOLE WORLD!
Sure they are. But the subject is salvation. Jews were already recipients of salvation. The world not so much. And John is concerned to make this known. Not only does Israel have a Savior, but salvation is coming everywhere.

What happened in Jonah's day in Nineveh?
All those .... what?
Gentiles! Gentiles got saved!
The Ninevites were recipients of salvation!

In the age of Israel, all people were recipients of salvation.
Look at all the Egyptians got saved just before the Exodus!

The Jews were simply God's witness to the nations.
And, not all Jews became recipients of salvation.

Now... after I laid that out for you?
Ignore what was said, and tell me I did not answer your question .

The exception only establishes the rule. How many nations existed then who received no prophet?

God only sends prophets to where God knows people are being positive to the invisible drawing of God.
That's what happened with Jonah.

And, look at Nebuchadnezzar.
All Babylon was evangelized after Jews were taken into their land.

Jews were God's witness bearers in that day.

As a follow-up, Jesus also said of His earthly ministry that He was sent to the Jews. When He sent out His disciples, they were told only to go to Jews. And Peter, himself, had to be shown a dream and see the Spirit fall on a Gentile family as He fell on him at Pentecost to understand salvation was for all people groups.
This is what I believe the Apostle John was teaching to correct in the passage.
And now we know the answer to the question of who would be dumb enough to answer my question.

No. God sends servants where He is at work.

Or...because he was a Jew and writing to a Jewish audience who believed that salvation was primarily just for Jews, he was explaining that salvation was available to the whole world, and not simply Jews.
Yes. Salvation is available to the whole world. Glad you came around to that conclusion.

.
For that time, yes.
For the Jews were at that time the only ones who knew the Law, as to understand the things that involved atonement.
Next, had to come, the manifestation of the Cross (Atonement)..

Then, Jews were sent out to the whole world to tell everyone what Jesus had accomplished on the Cross, because they already understood atonement.

Prior to that?
A gentile only had to believe there is the Lord God to be saved.
Gentiles were nor required to know the Law after their regeneration. Only Jews were.
That is why Jesus (and Paul) went to the Jews first.
For the Jews, because of the Law, knew what salvation from sins entailed.

You think Noah (being a gentile) was not saved?
Well? He was not a Jew!
And, according to your thinking?
Could not be a recipient of salvation!

Were you Kamala's writer for her word salads?
I thought to continue to engage. Because I'm an optimist, I always believe God will help the people I pray for. But your perfect record is still in tact. I still have yet to be edified in a discussion with you. Grace and peace.

You are not going to be edified by me until you start speaking sound doctrinal thinking.

Edification is building someone up in truth.
It's where we got the word 'edifice' from.

You, seek flattery instead.

I thought it was supposed to work the other way, ie no edification will come from a teacher until he starts speaking sound doctrinal thinking

2 Timothy 1:9 He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.

I'm glad Magenta Barbie finally made it on a panel.
