Hamas Calls for 'Immediate' End to War After Trump Election Win

I know many of the people on CC hate the idea of a cease-fire as you've proudly stated in past threads. That's something you and Biden/Kamala have been aligned on in at least 4x cease-fire discussions when they denied it. While I'm personally for killing all of Hamas, I am not for how they are going about it. Maybe enough Palestinian children have died that people can agree on an end to the war now?

I pray God uses Trump to put an end to this madness and that the Palestinians can start to rebuild. I pray for the safety of the Israeli people... that the beast they are creating by treating them as such choose love and not vengeance which will only bring more death and destruction like Hamas has done. Most importantly, I pray that all, Israeli and Palestinian, accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior before they depart from this life.

I doubt this means they will cease and desist waging war themselves.
Exactly. Best way to preserve life is to destroy Hamas and take the land for a buffer state. Their ideology doesn't respect peace but only for the reason of preparing for the next attack.

This will not end with Trump, most likely will get worse as they try to finish what was started.
It was under Trump that Israel went on an aggressive settlement spree in the occupied West Bank.

As for the future no one knows the outcome. But yes in less Islam is converted and done away with, all infidels are at risk of forced conversion or death.

Same mentality of the Imperial Japan and those willing to kill themselves for their Emperor. This was the main reason they felt the need to drop the first two nukes.

They understood, the ideology of Japan was not going to surrender without a great use of force. They would have probably kept the war going for years. Many more lives would have been lost from years of war.

They know now there's balls in the White House who will do a great more than simply say, "Don't".

Boy some people sure want to bring on world war three.
The Hamas threat as an Iranian proxy force furthers the China-fueled Iranian progress of nuclear warheads that will be used on Israel if given the chance. It's not a matter of if but when. That is the threat of WW3.

Nobody wants WW3 but unfortunately, we are in times of grave danger and threats that demand to be handled or worse things will come.

We just pray our leaders can be decisive and wise to handle the threats without a world war.

What about the American threat?

The United States of America has killed 20 million people in 38 countries since World War II.

I'll be a little more conservative than those who have taken the time to research the number of deaths (they assert 50 to 55 million) either directly or indirectly due to American imperialism.

It is also been seen in history that empires in decline are at their most dangerous as they are stretched too thin (like the USA) and try to continue to assert their dominance in a tyrannical way.

It depends on what kind of threat you are referring to. I'd hope we would be threatening towards those who wish to destroy us.

Of course, the U.S. has killed people. Every country has. Every nation in history has. It is the consequences of living in a fallin world. If you are trying to say all those deaths were unjustified then that is a much bigger debate of just war theory and specific events.

As for imperialism or the practice of extending power and dominion over other areas, that is wise strategy for any country.

Why would we leave evil to fester or allowed to grow if we could easily intervene? Evil left to fester in North Africa turned into the Ottoman Empire. Evil left to fester caused 9/11. Why not try to stabilize a strategic area for trade? Alliances? Or be strong enough to make countries with evil intent think twice before attacking?

Was it wrong of Joshua's imperialism into the Promise Land? Scripture says that God sets the boundaries of nations.

Acts 17:26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.

Nations rise to either bring judgment or fall due to reaping judgment. God uses nations for both.

To kill must be classified between just and unjust killing.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry, perhaps some day you will travel outside of the fixed propagandized American group think.

Hint: there were no weapons of mass destruction.

I laughed. Then I cried.
They are emotionally invested in their false paradigm. They're locked in. I don't see them waking up any time soon. As a matter of fact, there are many in this forum who will be calling for your death one day, because you refuse to go along with their delusions.

We are currently in prevention mode. Hopefully, we can prevent them from ever having WMDs.

As Iran reportedly plans a “definitive and painful” response to Israel’s attack following the Oct. 25 attack on its military facilities and some of its oil refineries.

Iran does not yet have a nuclear weapon, but it has a long history of engaging in secret nuclear weapons research in violation of its international commitments.

Western analysts say the country has the knowledge and infrastructure to produce a nuclear weapon in fairly short order should its leaders decide to do so.

The United States, Israel, and other Middle Eastern partners regard Iran as a primary threat to their interests in the region, and view its potential acquisition of nuclear weapons as a game-changing scenario to be steadfastly prevented—by force if necessary.

Yes, you have definitely made the truest, most accurate assessment and it has crossed my mind as well, those who label genocide as genocide will some day be called enemies of the state.

primary threat to their interests in the region,
Yes, I do know partly why the USA exploits, destabilizes, attacks, creates false flag events and instigates coup d'etat, leaves people's lives in ruins in other countries .... so the oligarchs, the technocrats and the military industrial complex is preserved.

I just have to wonder why does a country blessed with so much of its own natural resources have to meddle everywhere else, but then I remember "power" "might" "control" is never really satisfied with what it has acquired, it always wants to increase,

Some people think it is the "democracy world tour" those people are not living in reality.

I think our work here is done. We won't be changing anyone's hearts or minds.
This great deception is well documented in scripture. And all that follows. Those of us who see need to break away and form our own communities, online and otherwise. These people worship death. They're sick, and there's no cure.

where I'm for the preservation of life....

It's too little too late by them. And they are still firing Rockets at Israel.

So...they are lying again.

Well, the Donald has boasted that he's the best friend Israel has ever had. I guess he'll get his chance to prove it.

Hamas, at ANY TIME, could have:

Not attacked Israel
Returned hostages
Stopped broadcasting propaganda
Revealed the extent of their tunnels and munitions
Stopped hiding behind civilians.
Started distribution of international aid and food.
Stopped importing weapons and munitions
Told Iran to bugger off.

This call for a ceasefire is completely disingenuous. They are trying to re-arm and reform their ranks.
