Hello again. Thank you for reading my response. I. am extremely familiar with Bipolar Disorder as a professional and because it runs in my family. It is a difficult road and many people go undiagnosed and even end up addicted to drugs, homeless or incarcerated. I know that the side effects of the medications can be intolerable so people may choose to not take medication. Understand that this illness is very likely genetic and don't blame yourself. It sounds like you are gettting good treatment which is praiseworthy.

Some people will tell you that if you pray hard enough you will be healed. I cannot say if that is true or not. God heals who God wants to heal and in His timing. But surrounding yourself with other believers who won't judge you and will pray for you is important. Again, this is a challenge because some church goers are not saved. Jesus says to "pray as though it has already beeb given to you". So continue to seek God's love and care. May The Lord grant you peace and a solution to the challenges you are facing..

Thanks again Docgero. I just got rediagnosed to bipolar, from schizoaffective, and I got rediagnosed schizoaffective from schizophrenia. So it’s been a long road. I’m hoping God will continue to guide me. Being on here seems to help, getting guidance from the body of believer.

It seems like a blur but diagnoses are for billing purposes and are often not helpful. Whatever you are diagnosed with, it is good that you are getting appropriate care and help. Yes, whenever 2 or more are gathered in His name, He is among us. Keep reaching out for support from others. I'm proud of you brother.

Constant conversation with God sounds nice. I just started to get more privacy recently, so seems like perfect timing to give it a shot, again. Most of the time I can’t tell if God is telling me something or if it is just me thinking.
It sounds like a great time to get into the habit, and I hope you find it helpful!

I can't say I hear an audible voice from above directing me. I more get a sense of calmness. I get a renewed focus on what God wants me to do, and I'm better equipped to handle life's many hurdles because of that focus.

I know God does speak to me in other ways, such as through prayer.com podcasts, verses of the day, new Christian music that comes out the same day I’m experiencing something as if it was God’s perfect timing to release that song, life church sermons that youtube recommends and Christian Facebook posts from Bible.com, pray.com, crossway, and grace church. So I am really in tuned when I sense God speaking to me.

His voice is usually a sense of peace and also sometimes cuts to the core of me.
