Prayer for my pastor

Hi everyone,

So last year my pastor retired, he is 82.
We were blessed to have a new pastor step in and fill the pulpit. Both pastors are a such a blessing to us. Tonight I found out our new pastor is stepping down, for it is to much for him to be full time pastor living 45 minutes away from the church.

The prayer request I'm asking for is that him and his family be blessed for the services that they have allowed the Lord to bring forth and that they will continue to allow the Lord to use them. I would also love to pray for our church, for a pastor the Lord may lead to us. That our pulpit would be filled. And also for the church members to be lifted, for we are sad to see our pastor stepping down.

i know what it is like for a pastor step down for sinful behavior and I know what it is like for a pastor to step down because of a stroke. I pray that God blesses you guys with an amazing pastor that is a master at edifying your church. In Jesus name amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, bless the people and the pastors that Your servant Jake has in his mind. Inspire them to live for you and be Your good workers in Your vineyard. Instruct and teach them how they should lead Your flock and preach to them. Give them to have a great loving heart so that they may be true shepherds in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, and not careless hirelings. Help them not to seek their honor and high position, but to work selflessly in Your interests. Bring them and their people safely to the Kingdom of Heaven, where all saved children of Yours praise, thank and glorify Your holy and majestic name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and to the ages without end. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Father!! I pray for Jake and the body he attends. I pray that you send them a Shepard that is full of trust and confidence in You! That this pastor will bring the right message to this church and prepare the peoples hearts to press through these last days before the return of our Master Jesus! Thank you for your love and favor for this church! Bring them hope and courage to take on all that is going to be required of them! Amen!

Please continue to pray for us. It seems we have a long road ahead of us. God is good, he is in control, he is with us , and he loves us. I also pray for the members, that they will not leave but stay and continue to grow.
