Well, let me start answering by saying, humans have intelligence and feelings, just like you don't want to be bullied by anyone. Saying that " If there is a God, who are you to say he cannot do whatever he want with what he created?", that is masochistic.
Nope. It's pretty logical.

If I wanted to put my dog down, I could legally do it for no apparent reason. That is my dog.

God is a lot more humane than a lot of dog owners I know.

Why does god communicate through word play, synchronicity and poetic justice?
Hello Planet6412, God, who is omniscient, always knows the best/most effective way to communicate with us in each and every situation, and that's what He chooses to do (even when it seems to be the very antithesis of what we would choose to do if we were in His place). His thoughts are higher than our thoughts are, as are His ways, and thankfully so, because we've made a real mess of things from the very beginning .. e.g. Ecclesiastes 7:29; Romans 5:12.

There are many other ways that the Lord God chooses to communicate with us, as well, one of which is by demonstration. For instance,
Romans 5
8 God ~demonstrates~ His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He chose to love us in this way (in part) as a demonstration of His GREAT love for us, of our GREAT value to Him, and of the lengths that He would go to to save us, even while we were, in fact, His "enemies" .. see Romans 5:8-10.

So, God often does things in ways that we would never consider doing them, and we should all be VERY thankful that He does :) May God bless you as you seek to find Him, understand and know Him!!

~Deuteronomy (David)
John 3
16 God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

The best way to explain it, I believe god want's diversity.
He is a proponent of diversity in that He saves people out of every nation, tribe, kindred, and tongue.
What is your experience of God?

God want's winners, losers, Rich, Poor, dolts, healthy, sick. I believe he needs to maintain a certain percentage to maintain balance.

I have been studying him for a few decades, to say it the nicest way I can, I know he exists, but he is just a little bit too abrasive.

God can communicate in any number of ways. If God wants to communicate to someone he will do so in a way that they will understand. On this same token since God already knows everything already he can also opt to not communicate with someone knowing that they already will not listen.

What are your sources for drawing this conclusion?
Hello again @Planet6412, I agree with Cameron, when you say things like the fact that you find God to be abrasive, or that you are not satisfied with some of the ways that He chooses to communicate with us, it may be helpful to give us some specific examples of what you mean (because it's often easier for us to give you the answers that you are seeking when we know specifics).

Thanks!

That's an interesting thought. Why do you believe that God needs to "maintain balance"

He needs to?

What happens if he doesn't? Will his paycheck be cut?

Many people believe that there is no such thing as the devil, or satan. If anything it is God's front for the evil that he does or commands to his angels.
Another interesting thought. Why do you believe that God would either want or need to establish a "front" What advantage would there be for Him (and/or for us) if He chose to do so

Thanks again!

Maybe he wants to appear benevolent? Saying that, aren't there parts of the bible that are not so nice?

To which parts do you refer? The things you do not like about God? Or what the Bible has to say about how wicked man is?
