Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ˜Š

I'm having an issue with the emoji button. I hope the thumbs up πŸ‘ button and the bar pops up but no little emoji's. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thank you in advanced

I am having the same problem. From what I have read on other threads here, it has something to do with the browsers we are using. I switched to DuckDuckGo a few months ago, and I have no intention of switching to any other browser at this time because DuckDuckGo blocks thousands of tracking attempts. Since I changed to that browser, the amount of spam emails I receive has gone down by 90 something percent. If anybody gets an emoji from me here, then it is going to be the thumb's up because that is the only option that I am given.

It seems to be mostly an Edge browser problem which occurred when they did some upgrade that broke things, thank you Microsoft. Switching to Firefox has worked for many, and other browsers work as well. Another work around is, once the white bar comes up, if you are on your phone, you can put your finger where a reaction is supposed to be, and a few seconds later the name for that reaction will show above it. If you can move your finger to that text and hold it there for a few seconds, the correct reaction will appear on the person's post. This only works on my phone, though, and not on my laptop. I have an older phones as well and all the reactions show up on it no problem.

is seems to work sporadically. if you press on a emoji someone has made first it work. it doesn't always show up but the pop up window does and you cant see the emoji but you can click on them and they will post sometimes.

Here's how it went for me, in case anyone is interested. There were no additional emoji to be had on my Edge and my Brave browsers (just the thumbs up), so I tried Chrome. The thing is, while they were all there on Chrome, they were so small that I could hardly make them out, so I finally downloaded and switched to Firefox for CChat and that solved the problem.

This was several weeks ago, but the CChat emoji problems continue on Edge, Brave and Chrome, just FYI.
