I’m not sure considering our current boundaries. I do want to continue respecting your boundaries though, just so we don’t hurt one another. I think the boundaries are currently there for a reason and I am pretty sure God has them up for a reason, to protect us.

Are you listening to music right now? I’m currently sitting in absolute silence, so maybe I should turn some music on.

It might be too early to play Christmas tunes.

We can watch people being trampled in stores on previous black fridays and be thankful we aren’t apart of that but we may have to move over to the pagan holidays thread, just so others can chime in? Just an idea.

I’ll start off with this…

Having worked in retail during several Black Fridays, I certainly know what those are about lol.

Do you ever go on picnics out there? Or is it too populated for a picnic?

You know, I have been on one sorta picnic this year. We went to the beach with my mother and brother and we brought a bunch of snack and drinks (chips, sandwiches, water and sodas). It was nice and I actually took my shirt off outside for the first time in a while. The beach was packed and we set up a little tent and laid down some towels. I mostly stayed in the tent in the beginning and became more comfortable over time and laid down on a towel outside of the tent to get a tan.

Eventually my mother found friends of hers that were there. One man and one woman. The woman looked like she was judging me the whole time because I wasn’t talking and then I started speaking to the older man and we hit it off, so the woman felt more safe and willing to join in. I’m telling you, if I don’t speak and people don’t hear me speak to get a feel for me, people absolutely fear me. When I start talking people get a feel for me and when that happens, 100% of the time, they feel wayyy more comfortable around me because of how understanding and most of the time, nonjudgmental I am.

That sounds smashing. I love picnics. When I was in school, my best friend was a girl named Jennifer (Jennifer is no longer with us, she died in her early 20s). Anyway, one day she asked me what kind of man I wanted to end up with. My answer, "He must like picnics." lol

I'm picturing a beach picnic. I've been on lake beach picnics, but I'm sure it's vastly different.

Do you like to cook out? I haven't cooked out in a long time or built a bonfire in a long time. In the country, I would have a bonfire going often and just watch the fire, either with family or by myself or sometimes friends would come over. I would use my grandmother's beer boxes to keep the fire going lol

One ethnic group that is obsessed with picnics over here are the Mexican. They celebrate like every holiday at the park with their families, bbqing and having a giant picnic. I’ve join a few of them and it’s a great time.…in fact, I’m craving food right no. I haven’t eaten anything since I’ve been up I don’t think. Had a few Dr. Zevias though and a coffee.

Park picnics are great, especially during the week when barely anyone is there but during the weekend, forget about it. All the bbq’s are overtaken by the time you get there. So you would basically have to bring your mini bbq or just pack food, bring a blanket, lay the blanket on the grass, sit down on it and enjoy one another's company.

Beach picnics on the other hand, there is usually some space on the beach to have a picnic but if you go to Huntington Beach, forget about it. That place is jam packed with people, especially on the weekends and all throughout the summer.

i love to cook out. We have a bbq in the backyard but we haven’t used it. When I had my old room at a house I was staying at, I put a bbq on the front porch and would cook giant sausages that i would put in a bun and put a luxury brand spicy mustard on the sausage. It was one my most favorite thing to serve my roommates on the weekend. I have since graduated from simple meals but I sure do still love simple stuff like that.

Bonfires at the beach is one of my favorite things to do. Especially with a group of people. Though I have just had a bonfire at the beach with just me and a significant other at the time.

I would like to put a fire pit in the backyard, though going to the beach is much nicer.

I'm sorry you haven't eaten! I hope you will soon get yourself something to eat!

Picnic spots can be busy here too, though not nearly as much as there. I've always gone on weekdays, so it's rarely busy. Brenda and I have been on a lot of picnics where we were the only ones in the park lol.

I've done some unique picnicking. Nighttime picnics. Picnics while star gazing is nice.

Your mention of sausages made me think of bratwurst. Dad loved bratwurst and we'd cook them often. He'd cook them in beer. Sometimes I'd cook them on the grill. He like some kind of mustard that comes from Germany. I told him his mustard looks like dirt lol

I think a fire pit sounds smashing. There's something relaxing about sitting around a fire.

Sometimes I imagine how moving to Oklahoma would drop my blood pressure and put a sense of adventure back into me that has been dormant for a decade.

I love picnics while trying to star gaze. Over here, you try to star gaze but because there are so many lights at night from all the buildings and streets, it’s almost impossible to see the stars but going to the beach at night, when you aren’t legally supposed to be there, laying down a blanket or towel p, lying down and just enjoying the waves, the night sky and the moon, sure is relaxing.

They are bratwurst I meant to say! I would cook them in new castle on the stove or just bbq them on the grill without beer.

The mustard I used was like a combination of horseradish and spicy mustard. It was really amazing.

I’m going to look in the kitchen so I don’t starve.

I really do think that Oklahoma can be therapeutic. I'd get homesick for the quiet Okie life whenever I'd stay out of state lol.
We have adventure here, but it's just different. And no, I don't mean you have to lasso a cow on a city street to have some adventure

I wish you could see the night sky from eyes as I've seen it out in the Osage. The Milky Way is impressive out in the Osage. Meteor showers are also impressive out there. You'll hear coyotes howling in the distance, or an owl hooting while you watch the night sky. The country at night is a very peaceful place.

I'm listening to rockabilly tonight. Right now, the Bopcat's I Don't Want to Be Alone.

I hope you find something tasty and satisfying!

It's Monday right now, isn't it? I gotta run outside and take the rubbish bin to the rode.

I have a love/hate relationship with California. There is so much to do and so many options but for me, I don’t want to do anything unless I can enjoy it with someone else.

There are only a few things I enjoy in public by myself: going to Starbucks and enjoying the outdoor patio or going inside with my laptop and work on a project. I try to use my times wisely by trying to make some progress in life. Whether that is in relationship, work or spending time with God. All three of those is a balancing act for me and sometimes I have to put a halt on everything and focus on pursuing God, cause I know if I spend too much time away from him, he gets jealous and his wrath will come upon my relationships and my work.

My life seem boring right now but I have big dreams.

I’ll never forget those lassoing videos and images. I can’t get enough of those!

What the heck am i waiting for? I can literally compose music anywhere! I don’t have to be here…yet I am…

i would love to see and hear some owls.

i’ll check out that song. I’ll try to keep you company until you move on to a more exciting and fulfilling life.

i ended up heating up a plate of bbq chicken that we got the other day when we ordered pizza. Not sure how good it is after so many days but I ate it and it seemed fine to me. It was a bit too much meat though. Should have taken the time to make some steamed vegetables with it. Which I might have before I go to sleep.

You say a lot of english terms as if you are from Great Britain but you weren’t born and raised there. I find that to be very unique and wonder if you were one of those kids who were born and remember a life they used to live before you were born. I’ve heard of stories like that. Could be completely made up considering it was on television.

We have to take our trash cans out Monday night. So later on, to be picked up Tuesday morning.

There are quite a few things I don't have any problems with doing alone. I've taken myself out to eat numerous times. I been to several concerts by myself and who knows how many movies I went to see alone. Hiking alone, even picnicking alone, flea marketing alone, etc.
I certainly think these things are enjoyable with someone though. There are somethings I don't do because they are out of my solo comfort zone.

Boring can be good sometimes. Sometimes I think it's necessary to go through boring spells. I certainly have my share of them.

There is something really wonderful about being outside on a peaceful night with an owl nearby. I've had them swoop over my head. Owls are so beautiful. I love listening to them. I heard one not long ago right out in the yard, as often happens.

I don't personally believe in past lives. I think the reason I talk the way I do is because I grew up watching British comedy with my dad lol. I remember far back at a wee age I was watching them with him. Later, I continued watching them way into adulthood. People once in awhile comment on my choice of words, but I don't purposely do it. That's just how I talk. Fellow Okies think something is wrong with me lol

I’ll try to keep you company until you move on to a more exciting and fulfilling life.
"Until you move on." That sounds terrible. Besides, you're more likely to have a more exciting life :giggle:

About two months ago, I was about to buy a $300 ticket to go see Charli XCX in concert, near by in Los Angeles. She is a superstar electronic artist at the moment and I thought it would be so random of me to go there, considering how tied she is to the LGBTQ movement. I sometimes wonder if they would be able to know my belief system based on how I look and my body language but I think it would have been dangerous and exciting.

i can’t stand being bored. I think that is why God has given me nonstop projects to work on over the years. I remember being at my God parents house and pacing in the kitchen if I didn’t have anything to do. I would go nuts if I wasn’t hanging out with my friends playing video games or going to a party. Eventually all I wanted to do was go to parties. I was the guy who would find one going on cause people would invite me and then I would post it on MySpace, so like 100 people would show up.

i got to get used to boring. I think I’m more used to it now, since I’ve gotten older. Especially after reading the Bible more. I find reading the Bible and doing Christian activities more enjoyable now because I feel God‘s peace and healing. I’d definitely want to enjoy his outdoor creation though.

Owls remind me of Harry Potter. My most recent ex of 12 years ago was really into owls. Then I found out that there are certain cults and lots of evil groups that use the owl as their logo.

i don’t believe in pasts lives either but sometimes television tries to make you believe it. One time I watched a special on mermaids and me and a girlfriend at the time thought it was completely real. We told everyone until someone told us the truth that it was all made up lol. I was so foolish back then.

i just find you valuable. So if someone else can see the same thing that I see in you, and they can connect with you on a deeper level, I’m toast. I also have screwed up just about every relationship I’ve ever been in. So there is a high probability that I won’t get it right. My dad was able to do it though. He got married again at the age of 40. That’s like 4 years from now for me. They have been together ever since. Both kids graduated high school, both in college, one at a university. I wouldn’t say my brother in that side of the family is the brightest even though he is going to a university but I do believe he may be a great family man and baseball player.

I don't know anyone that gets a relationship perfectly right. Like you said, I think keeping the flame going is a big part of keeping things alive. Respect is a huge factor. Of course, as Christians, the Lord is paramount.
I just think the having a healthy amount of fun and flirting certainly helps. I've seen couples together for a long time that still flirt like they were in high school lol. In life, being with someone that is as giddy about you as you are them makes for a fun and long lasting relationship.

I’m doing my best to be respectful and a ‘nice guy’ but at the same time, when I think respectful, I think treating you like a lady. I imagine being in the 50’s and being super prude, opening doors and saying ”golly” or “shucks,” walking you to your door for a possible after date smooch and running to my thunderbird and sitting in my car with stars circling the top off my head in shock that I was kissed by a woman for the first time.

By the way, I don’t pace any more. It’s been nearly 20 years since I was like that. If I can mostly stay at home for an entire year without going insan. I’m pretty sure I can handle anything.

Well, in that case, you might think Oklahoma is too wild! :D

I will have to tell you the truck bed full of rattlesnakes story sometime soon. I don't think I've told that one yet.

Based on your downtown video, you would really have to provide some other kind of evidence to prove to me how wild Oklahoma is. I’ve never seen a place so dead in my entire life. Sorry if that seemed disrespectful but I do value a place where there is no people.

A truck bed full of rattlesnakes though…now that is wild!
