Each person sees a little different than others. that is why I think God wants a personal relationship between each of us to his love and mercy to all. I see said the blind person to the other person as the other person picked up the hammer sand saw.
Respect, no respect. the perplexity of things, are real enough to let each other believe how they choose to believe, instead forcing or manipulating any belief system on anyone, at least for me this I now see from God personally to me in thanksgiving and praise, me seeing all sin by Son is taken away in the willing death alone for all to get set free from emotional living, to being given the new life in the risen Son, given this from God Father to us, that stand in belief, no matter what What?
Emotions lead, is a beating of people fighting people over I am right and you are wrong attitudes of the first born nature of people in my honest opinion
Time daily for me to be dead and remain dead to my emotional lead, that get me angry and in sin again over it, not wanting to be dead.
Reckon self now dead by God in Son for us, do that daily and begin to see new and not of you anymore, at least me this I am finally seeing this truth, beyond understanding to the first born flesh, at least this I am now beginning to see it as truth so deep, wide and high
He (God) in Christ is here forever and will never ever die again. the same as the wind, will not die, never has, never will.

OP honestly expressed a valid, legitimate frustration and you attempted to invalidate it, rather than address it directly, in order to gloss over and disable it with passive-aggressive guilt tripping that masquerades as conventional Christian wisdom. This is basically the state of Christianity in the US and a big reason why it has no power except at the ballot box.

All sons of God (male and female), if they love God, will be led through such an experience. The intent is for the son to experience death in the desert, so to speak. Long held traditions, expectations, biases, and imaginations are brought to their end and extinguished in our lives.

Jesus was led to the wilderness to fast and be tempted by the devil.
Peter and Paul had such experiences. Many other faithful in the Lord went through similar things.

The intent is to get us to obtain a place where the enemy can find nothing in us to hook onto.

This is Jesus: "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me."

Through this time, our spirits rise over our soul's desire to control our lives and our reliance on the Lord is strengthened. By this, submitting to and being led by the Spirit of God, our souls are saved from the ways and schemes of the world.

I wasn't invalidating anything. I was exhorting the OP to bear long with those who err. Our responses to the offenses of others is a reflection on Christ as well as an exhibition of the fruit of the Spirit or lack thereof. It's little wonder that heathen don't flock to Christ because they see so little of Him mirrored in His people.

Nothing wrong with steering the conversation back to topic, but deriding people in the process isn't helpful.

Why not just say 'OK, sorry, will try to stay on topic'. That's the courteous and loving thing to do.

Co-dependency is when everyone agrees to overlook everyone else's sins with the unspoken understanding that no one points out anyone else's sins. Love covers a multitude of sins, but it doesn't pretend they're not there and it doesn't shy away from speaking the truth when actions cause harm. I think an apology is due the OP, not passive-aggressive guilt tripping that implies the OP is at fault.
