I love the cold weather. I just add a few more layers when needed.

I totally forgot about that, after reading about in Tim Ferris’, The 4 Hour Body.

Also, another way of making sure your body stays nice and toasty, is by eating a ketogenic diet while also intermittent fasting. I did that for a year and I felt as warm as a flu all year, just melting fat away.
Is there a place I can look up your regimen?

i used to bundle up to combat the cold. i finally learned to exercise my powers of the subconscious mind in this area. now, in the cold season, i wear a t-shirt & an insulated heavy duty sweatshirt to deal with the cold. & by course, it does the job.
I have read of this, how do we look it up?

i like to think about anything that enters my mind. i have a very strong will to be ambitious & to solve. it's the natural me. i love challenges. & so, that leads to objective & subjective mind power. i read the 1st chapter & a half of a book called "The Powers Of Your Subconscious Mind & that's all i needed. i analyze & study anything. i learned to tap any self help skills which we have in us just by thinking. for instance, i healed my neck problem which was the result of bad posture while drumming. it sneaks up on you. in fact, the world's best drummer ever, buddy rich, had the worst posture. i moved my neck in all ways, found the area that hurt the most & exercised it with repeated reps. i also healed my back from bad drumming posture but that wasn't to bad.

There is an app I used called Carb Manager. This might be a bit much but when I went to in n out for lunch, I would eat a lettuce wrapped burger with four battles and four slices of cheese. The patties at In n out are thin. I would ask for no special sauce, no tomato, add pickles and mustard, and I would eat that everyday for lunch at noon.

With dinner, I would order the Cobb salad with no bread crumbs or whatever crispy bread like pieces that would come with it, and use two avocado ranch dressings, mix it up and eat it at 6pm.

Both of these meals added up to a total of about 1550 calories per day, while also fulfilling the correct amount of protein, fats and carbs I needed to have almost perfect macros.

i did this for a year, just in time for my best friends wedding and i lost 70 pounds, slowly.

Totally, it’s like a secret I discovered during the pandemic. I watched a lot of Dr. Berg on YouTube during that time. I also stopped watching him later on cause he is a Scientologist but he has a lot of good information.

God will use anyone, I still enjoy Dr. Berg for good info, that he is a scientologist is unfortunate, lets keep him in effectual prayer.:)(y)

Yes! Thank you, friend:)(y):coffee:
Totally. He will be in my prayers.

i use to buy his electrolyte powder and a lot of his supplements. He only makes the best/cleanest products. All of his products focus around a keto diet.

He is where I learned about keto in 2015, and from there I tried to perfect it further, until about two years ago. I kinda gave up on it.

I find I am leaning towards a keto diet merely by good choices. Kind of Isaiah 28-liken "Here a little, there a little" .
Blessings

Well it finally got cold enough for me to plug in the oil radiator heater. I'll run it for a few hours before I go to w*rk.

There's a propane heater sitting by the wall, but I haven't used it yet. If it gets down to, like, less than 20 or so, I might fire it up.

Either way, what are your extremes? If you're the kind to cover up, how low do you let it go before you finally turn on the heat? If you're the kind to crank it up, how high do you let it fly?
Since my diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure, I am far more aware of cold weather. I am also more aware of thermostats being set low during warm weather. Personally, I try to keep my Apartment around 76 degrees when I am awake. I do not mind it being 72 or so when I am sleeping. Anyone who has CHF knows that when your heart is only pumping 20 to 35% of blood that cold is a way of life.

Here in Ok City, we have had winter come calling and several cold days and nights recently, and next week we are expecting 50's for highs and close to freezing or below for lows. I will have to use my heat for sure at night. :) I have found that during the day, my Apartment warms up with the sunshine and I can wear a hoodie and insulated underpants and do just fine with it being 72 or so.

I just turned the heat on!

I'm usually defaulting to cover up rather than crank it up. Not because I am a skinflint, but because I just don't see the point in wasting a lot of heat when I could just trap what I am generating.

But tonight I finally turned the heat on... Because it's supposed to drop down to 17 Fahrenheit, and I don't want the pipes to freeze and pop.
