One thing after another has got to me mentally. Things have felt more like a mountain climb than a flat winding path.

Prayers would be appreciated as I'm not even sure why it is getting at me. Maybe just tired. Usually my method is to just bulldoze through it but it seems I have got it stuck in the mud and I'm going nowhere.

Brother I will pray for you! I read your testimony and it was wonderful. You learned to trust Him through the storm. There is always another test for us to go through and learn even MORE trust! Trust and confidence is what combine together for us to form FAITH. When you know our Father He brings us the challenge to put our confidence in Him to do what He wants to do! My heart for you is trust Him and have the confidence to do what you can to please Him and give Him the esteem for all He has done. Father touch this brother and free him of this pain so he can share how YOU have healed him so that you are given the esteem.

Just a compilation of things. Wife and kids are really struggling with strep. The ministry that I lead, I have been struggling this year as we have grown but not growth in volunteering. Starting this ministry I knew it would have moments like these so I suppose I'm just feeling it at the moment trying to prepare a parade float and Christmas party.

Thank you! Trust the process even if I don't like the process. It's difficult sometimes.

"Let us pray to understand and to know that one's spiritual life is not necessarily
meant to be easy and there will surely be times of mood changes. I pray it is understood
that spiritual aspirations may sometimes fall short and it is a time to be patient and
not to get caught up in the restless mood of the world.
'I pray your spiritual life becomes renewed with hope and you accept things you cannot change.
When spiritual equilibrium becomes out of balance, one may have lost their intimacy with the Holy Spirit."
'Amen'

Needing prayers again, father was admitted last week into the hospital for heart attack. All things seemed to be good on the road to recovery as he was released 3 days later. Saturday morning at 3 A.M. I got the call saying he had fallen at home face first and a lot of blood. He went back to the hospital by an ambulance. They are running all these tests and so far his heart is good. So now they are in vital monitoring and pain tolerance. The fall shifted his jaw, bit his tongue and lip very badly, and he hurts all over in his upper body.

Today he is in good spirits though where as yesterday he thought he was dying.

Thank you. They have found a fracture in his jaw and plan to do surgery tonight. His attitude is not very great today. Hoping it's just the pain meds making him look so defeated.

How old is your dad? Falls are quite common, especially as we get older. Sometimes, they can fall and if they aren't able to get help or get up, it can be a disaster. I had a relative who slipped and fell from a bathtub only to be found dead a week later.

He is 61 and was getting around great before the heart attack last week. We are thinking the 6 new medications, blood pressure, of just weakness caused him to fall. Not sure though because he doesn't remember the fall or the cause.

Thankfully the surgery was not needed. The surgery was a risk due to blood thinners and the fracture was determined to be in a place that could heal on its own. Plus 6 weeks of having your jaw wired shut is no fun.
