I, recently, had a job interview. While my Mom was alive, I was her caregiver. When I saw I would not be able to return to work, I put in for an early retirement. I am 64. Our 2 checks together would have been enough for our expenses. We had a mortgage payment due each month. Now that my Mom has passed, I have looked for work to supplement the retirement
I had an interview a few days ago and it went really well. I felt confident when I walked out. I had even asked that the interviewer would give me strong consideration and she said she would due to my experience. I have applied other places as well.
I fell asleep somewhat early and and woke up and decided to see if tgere were any response. There was saying they were considering other applicants. Meanwhile, I am now late on my mortgage payment for this month.
I know satan is tge accuser of the brethren. I know God has promised to supply all my needs. I know His Word says I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging bread.
Right now, I just feel fragile and pushed to the limit. He is even trying to accuse me that I care more about my finances than my Mom's death and yes, I do know he is the accuser of the brethren. Just please pray for me. I'd like to one day be able to return the favor.

We will pray for the success of your job seeking efforts. Don't let Satan take away your joy. At our church, we have taken up a love offering to help people with electric bills and mortgage payments. Talk to your pastor.

Use "AI" to create a resume and apply for many jobs at once.
I used AI to automatically apply for 1000 jobs - and I got 50 interviews! : r/GetEmployed

Use any church related connections or other connections so someone can get you in a place, or get the foot in the door.
Then look for other opportunities once you have a job.

God bless.

Shoshie, You could get a room mate to offset the cost of the mortgage. If you can't get a job quick enough for the next payment. You can rent out the rooms in your house My cousin did this and a lady up the street rented out rooms in her house too except she got a trailer and rented out all the rooms. You could also be a foster mother.

If you attend church, they may be able to help with rent and/or bills. You may also want to check with the mortgage loaner/bank to see if there are any options. Getting a roommate is also a great idea as well. You have to evaluate how many years you have left in the mortgage, and if you want to keep working till then or move into a subsidized apartment which could reduce financial burden. It is best to hold on to your home if you can.

I hope and pray your needs are cared for and that God's Spirit is
close by for strength and courage to stay strong with hope that all will
come about in your life, and your needs become stable and taken care of accordingly.
In Jesus's name, let us pray for this to be done.
'Amen'

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I'm praying for the Lord's provision, and I invoke the mighty name of Jehovah Jireh.
I know the stress of finances can cause on our mental health, spiritual and physical health.

Please keep us posted and hang in there.

James 1:2-6 (NIV 1984)
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Father strengthen my brother! Cause him to know You are right now closer than a brother!!! That You love him and will never forsake him or leave him. Help him to take courage in his trial as it brings him closer to YOU! THANK YOU GOD!
