Testimony

Hey all, i wanted share my testimony as well. Growing up i never truly knew who Jesus as my family as far as i know no 1 believed and still dont but about a year ago i had a dream and at this time i didnt know almost knowing about the Bible. The dream was simple, it was me and some family friends and we were on turbulant waters and the waves keep coming at us increansing intensity every time and it was for some reason pushing us against a wall or barrier that we kept hitting but then i saw a figure appear from sky and calm the ocean till the water was calm and still and i remember seeing myself going upfront (cant remember if any 1 else came with me) and bowing to that figure(i assume it is Jesus after reading Bible). It was best peace i had after that dream for some time. I be honest i believe in his words but i dont know why me, i still dont know if im saved but i believe his word and sacrifice saved milions over years to eternal life. I rarely read Bible but i listen to Jesus teachings on youtube, im not very good at prayer but i trying to start my journey. Any advice is welcome and thank u all.

Start with reading the bible, pray daily and join a church.

Admit: Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need salvation
Believe: Trust that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died to pay for your sins
Confess: Declare your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior

U dont realize how message came on very crucial time i wake up at unusual hour and got it. Thing is God warned me during a month a relantionship i had was not good for me and even then i backslide into it. It realy my fault because i was getting better after a month apart without her but Pride or stupidity make me Lost path again. Probably Will sound weird for people reading but it like a battle for my soul and i feel this time God is dissapointed on me so i ask anyone reading to please pray for me. Thanks everybody.

Even if God is unhappy with you over something remember that He always loves you and is ready to receive a sinner who repents. Repent means to change, by the way, really to change course in your heart.

If you aren't familiar, you might spend some time reviewing the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Actually you should read the whole chapter. Consider:

2 Peter 3:9 HCSB
[9] The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

Luke 15:7 HCSB
[7] I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don’t need repentance.

It sounds like you are on the right track Andrew, keep praying and seeking God! If He is leading you (even if it's with correction), then that means He loves you and is working on your heart. Learn to trust and follow Him, it's the only real life there is!

Please be very careful as a new babe in Christ. Be careful who you learn from. Be careful of the church you attend, and by all means, be VERY careful of the doctrine in which you adhere to when you first begin to learn of the Father.
I suggest you avoid commentary Bibles. Try to stick only to reference Bibles, and try to learn as the Spirit teaches you. This may take some time to understand the truth, but once you have been taught through the Spirit, you will feel the POWER of God’s truth. (It’s possible, for I knew nothing, and stuck with reference Bibles, and the truth has been revealed to me)
Also, I strongly suggest that you obtain a STRONGS concordance book. They are very useful when trying to understand Hebrew and Greek definitions from over 2000 years ago.
Just please be careful who you choose to learn from, and the church you attend, for prophecy is being filled as we speak, and there are many teachers out there that are where they are because they teach what people want to hear, and not the truth.
Many modern churches teach mostly lies and half-truths. They are corporations producing money rather than true saving faith.
My dear brother in Christ, I am not trying to make you paranoid in you Christian walk, but I pray that you seek God for the wisdom in which you desire. Please be careful my friend, for Christ says “if the blind lead the blind, they will both fall into a ditch”.
