To be honest, I have stayed almost entirely off of my feet since I got hurt last Saturday. When I try to walk, abnormal strain is placed upon my calf muscle and on my knee because I cannot walk properly due to my severely sprained foot, so I have been spending almost the entirety of my days in bed.

I can empathize. I've broken toes and shattered a heal, Sprains of joints and a torn calf. God was very merciful to even heal the most complex bone structure of the feet. I know He alone gets the credit and can do likewise for you my friend. May He heal you quickly and completely with no lasting deficiency. In Jesus Name 🙏🥹
Amen

I pray to our Lord Jesus christ that your foot will be healed, fully according to God's timing.

It is definitely getting better, but it is not fully healed yet. The company doctor kept my work restrictions in place until my next appointment on February 5th (next Wednesday), and it will hopefully be fully healed by then. In hindsight, it has been beneficial for me that it has been taking so long to heal. If I had not been out of work for at least two straight weeks, then I would not have been recompensed through workman's comp for the first seven days of my injury. Now, I will get paid for all of the missed days at work. On the other hand (or should I say on the other foot?), I have been going stir crazy because I have literally been spending about 23 hours of every day in bed in order to stay off of my foot.
