That is quite lovely... very peaceful and soothing. Reminds me of some of the music I was listening to about thirty years ago...

I liked Steven Halpern's music also... haha when I look him up, it says
he is considered one of the founding fathers of new-age music.
Check out
his discography!!! (<= link) .:eek::giggle:

Nice, thank you.
I’m adding this to my playlist too.

I think in Christian circles, the term “new age” is mainly used by old guys who also say “get off my lawn”.

Thank you!
My playlist was initially created with 3 main artists: Enya, Enigma and Medwyn Goodall.
The third one puts the NEW in AGE. lol

Based on these choices, Youtube and Pandora have led me to other similar music like Gregorian Chants.
Very nice stuff on a day when your soul needs this kinda music.

Always loved this song and see no reason why -despite the title- it cannot be applied to the One True God...

PS~ yes, love Enya...

I cannot find the lyrics .:cry:.But they are quite easy enough to make out...

How about this?

I was not so much into Eastern anything but this did appeal even if mostly as a novelty item...

I am very familiar with this type of music since it's music made by monks typically.

Have you listened to any of Delerium's music from the mid '90s on?

They started out very industrial (from Germany) but ended up on the Netwerk label here and then began
employing the vocals of the female artists... including Sarah McLaughlin (you may have heard "Silence"?).

Highly recommend the CDs Karma, Poem, and Chimera (that is three different CDs) and you may
also like Semantic Spaces, though it has less vocals, it is no less... captivating in its own way...

You are welcome! And before I forget, I must recommend Paul Schwartz, who took the arias from
popular operas and turned them into something very listenable for the average not-an-opera-fan :D

But before he did that, he did this:

I believe the vocalist is Lisbeth Scott.

And if you like Latin, try Richard Souther's Hildegard von Bingen CDs, Vision, and The Fire of the Spirit.

Also I am not sure if I tried posting it or even mentioned Paul Scwartz's State of Grace cd...

That is what Vini Redemptor is from, I believe...

and now I can see the videos. Eh. What is going on??? LOL

There was some "suspicious activity" message there a few minutes ago

:unsure::LOL::ROFL::LOL:

Veni Redemptor Gentium was written by Ambrose of Milan way back when (4th century).
