Interest rates about 21 % and lack of income from sales of oil and gas to feed Russia's war.

A former high-ranking US army commander has warned that Russia is on the brink of "collapsing," and the world needs to brace for potential nuclear chaos within the country, coming just days after a Russian official told men to be 'ready' for WW3. Retired General Ben Hodges, who previously served as the commander of the United States Army in Europe, has been a vocal commentator on Russia's war in Ukraine.

Yep, Russia's back is against the wall, not many options left for them.

Pride goes before a fall…

Pride just wants to do whatever it wants no matter the consequences… won’t even consider the suffering of others…. whatever Pride does it only ends badly, especially for them.

They've been saying this kind of stuff Russia since 2020. Non-stop doom-saying that hasn't gone anywhere. Hodges is a fool

They're cleaning Ukraine's clock
I don't believe anyone can truly know the real status of the war in Ukraine from the news. So I look at other factors. Their economy and currency are crashing. Social discontent in Russia is rising. Drone strikes in Russia are clearly causing massive damage to the oil industry. Also this is no longer a war against Ukraine. NATO is sending very significant number of troops as well as technological assistance, drones, satellite intelligence, etc. Russia cannot win a war of attrition and that is what they are in right now.

I don't think Russia can afford to lose this war and in order to win it I don't see any possibility other than going nuclear. Then all bets are off.

Not seeing it. I do have access to what's going on through Telegram accounts. Drone strikes are a problem and I frankly don't understand what Russia is doing, but it doesn't appear to be as dire as you're making it out to be. It has always been a NATO war against Russia. I agree with you 100% that NATO will push it too far and Russia will respond with nukes.

Russia/The Soviet Union has never been great at war strategy. They’re like a dumb person with too much money. Just keeps it pouring and hoping that the enemy will run out of resources first.

Don't they teach Sun Tzu anymore to the military? You are never to assume your enemy is stupid.

1. Russia emptied their prisons at the start of this war and put the felons at the front lines. Everyone who died saved them money.

2. Russia has used all their old equipment which would have been obsolete otherwise. So most of the equipment was ready to expire.

3. Russia understands that with the new AI and robots they do not need nearly as many people in the country as they have. You may have heard about the Georgia guidestones and the goal of moving the Earth's population to 500 million. That is about a 90% or greater reduction in population. That is also why China has reduced their population from 1.2 billion to less than 400 million (latest estimate from the WHO as well as from other approaches like how people have phones, go to school, etc).

Yes they look ineffective, but for what they wanted they were very effective.

Have you ever found yourself thinking, speaking, and doing something because of your pride?

Only the one without sin gets to throw the stone, which means none of us has any rights to even pick up a stone.

Seems the moment we judge someone, we realize we’re just as guilty as them…

Best not to point any fingers at anyone, instead seek solutions and keep our eyes on Jesus Christ.
