What, the speed at which technology is going, can it be applied here, I wonder if I am likely digging up another old suggestion here. That is, it seems a monumental shame knowing as we peruse through the threads, some obviously important to many members as there are some intensely high body-counts on some of them that would, for most of us late comers, have to engage in catching up with a huge amount of commentary, or, bypass to something already reaching the end course of edification. Often, for some of us, an insurmountable task.

How nice it would be when inside the Forum categories AND ALSO inside the specific thread itself, we could see some type of indicators dependant on previous specific responses of active reader/commenter toolbar selections. Ideally, some small banner that might indicate turning points and even high-vote comment locations based purely on those reponses. That Possible?

Hmm... Interesting proposition. A map to the high points of a big thread, as it were.

I'm going to bet it's not possible with this current forum software. I could be wrong, but I'm cofident enough on this one to bet my next three paychecks.

(And if I AM wrong, you'll never find me to collect. Bwahaha and all that.)

Yes, this forum software doesn’t allow that without some kind of modification which may or may not exist.
Some other forum software, put the first post or the original post of the topic in every page on every subsequent post for any other users.
They do that so people don’t lose sight of the topic basically and the first post is always there.
It won’t summarize 300 pages of subsequent posts though.
It only shows you the first one, for direction to stay on topic as much as possible.

Ahh, For starters which may at the very least, be a slight modification to the ''CC Forum Stats'' dialog box (lower right homepage). But what do I know!?
