The Holy Spirit and Salvation !

There's no reason to complicate matters by attempting to explain what order something needs to occur.

We are the children of Whom/whom we choose to obey.

If we obey God and His Law (Matt. 5:17-19), then we are His Children, born again in His Spirit (see: 1 John 3:4-11).

If, on the other hand, we continue to obey Satan (and thus continue in sin), then we are his children (John 8:44-45 KJV).

We are the children of Whom/whom we choose to obey.

The Holy Spirit is our connection to Father (God).

The reason blaspheming the Holy Spirit is considered to be an unforgivable sin is because it severs our connection to God, thereby ensuring we can no longer be guided by Him.

No complication here, give the Spirit His Due Honor

According to Christ (the Truth - John 14:6 KJV), He (Christ) is the Holy Spirit/Connection/Mediator (1 Tim. 2:5 KJV)/High-Priest (Heb. 5:5-10 KJV) between us and Father (God):

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the Truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 14:15-26
14:15 If ye love me, KEEP my COMMANDments.
14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
14:17 [Even] the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I Live, ye shall live also.
14:20 At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
14:21 He that hath my COMMANDments, and KEEPETH them, HE it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
14:22 Jude saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will obey my words: and my Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
14:24 He that loveth me not obeyeth not my sayings: and the Truth which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you.
14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things (Matt. 23:10 KJV), and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Believing is an Evidence of Spirits indwelling !

1 Jn 5:10

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

That witness being the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth by New Birth; Hence that one who is of the Truth as Per the Saviour Jn 18:37

37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Such a one can now bear witness to the Truth revealed to them by the Word and Spirit, The Truth of God in the Gospel Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

We must be of the Truth Jn 18:37 to hear [spiritually] the Word of Truth, and so Hearing bears witness that we have been given Eternal Life as a Gift of the Spirit, which confirms Jesus Testimony here Jn 5:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The Hearing and Believing here is evidence of one possessing Eternal Life [New Birth], otherwise in the flesh we cannot Hear God's Word, or Christ's Voice.

Its only after the Spirit in New Birth bearing witness with Our Human Spirit, that we are the Children of God, that we can Spiritually receive the Truth in the Gospel, to Spiritually discern it and mentally regard it !

Because the Carnal Mind without the Spirit is at enmity with God Rom 8:7

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
