When Revelation 3:10 will happen? It will be in the future or it was already happened?
Let's write out what Revelation 3:10 says:

Revelation 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

There is such a thing as dual fulfillment of Bible prophecy where the prophecy comes to pass in part soon after the prophecy is announced, and then a second time in the far future where it comes to pass in full.

This promise was directed to the church at Philadelphia. I would say that it was fulfilled as promised the first time in part. But not the way the pre-tribbers think. They like to use this verse as proof that God promises that He will whisk them away before the great tribulation to avoid all the intense persecution that comes with it.

But that's not what actually happened with the church in Philadelphia. God didn't whisk them away from the persecution that came against them during John's time. As a matter of fact, eleven of them got martyred along with Polycarp. So what did God mean? It meant that God kept their faith in Him intact. They were able to go through the persecution without falling away from Him.

So this promise will be fulfilled again as Christians will go through the great tribulation. We won't be whisked away to avoid the great tribulation, but if we obey His clear command to endure patiently as the promise says, God will keep our faith in Him intact and we will not fall away during the intense persecutions of the great tribulation to come.

Just as there were some Christians from Philadelphia were martyred, so will a great many Christians will be martyred as well. We were already warned about that, so we should not be surprised and panic about it as if that was never warned of in the Bible.

To be honest, if people study all the horrible things that will happen during the great tribulation, dying is really the best thing to happen to Christians: you get to go home to God and rest with Him while chaos is wreaked on earth upon everyone else still alive - whether they're Christian or unbelievers alike.

The pre-tribulationist believed that this verse will happen in the future in their view that righteous will be raptured that will not be part of world tribulation, but for me it will not in the future but it was already happened during 20th century!

I guess I never gave much thought to the timing; to me, His command to persevere seemed like the important part.

Future---Inside the Tribulation of 7 years--not dual fulfillment

Not unusual especially in OT to find a pertinent prophecy mixed with relative events of the time on which the scripture was written.

It IS dual fulfillment - that promise was to the church at Philadelphia of John's time. The church at Philadelphia did not fall away during persecution - so its first fulfillment came to pass. We're just waiting for the second fulfillment at the end of this age. It won't be a rapturing away, but God will make sure that people who endure as He commands will not fall away.

If it (a- the rapture; b - the tribulation) has already happened, either we are in deep doo-doo (a) or the tribulation was over-hyped (b).

When Revelation 3:10 will happen? It will be in the future or it was already happened?
For us, Rev 3:10 is yet future. When Satan is cast down from heaven Rev 12:7-9, and comes to earth, before Jesus, claiming to be God II Thes 2:3-4, he will cause a very great falling away from worshipping the true God through his false doctrines, lies and signs Rev 13:11-14. Many that were never taught that Satan would come first, before Jesus, claiming to be him, will be deceived into worshipping Satan thinking he is God.

Those on earth that know Satan is an imposter when he comes will stand against him and expose his lies with the Holy Spirit speaking through them Math 10:16-20. They are kept from that hour of temptation and trial simply by knowing the truth. If you know Satan is a fake, you certainly are not going to worship him. Rev 3:8-10 is addressed to those that will make the stand against Satan, knowing he is a fake, in the not so distant future when he comes to earth, with the fallen angels Rev 12:9, claiming to be God. May God give you eyes to see to escape the coming deception by knowing the truth.
