chat room connection problems?

I noticed the new https://christianchat.com/app/
while working fine in march.. has a lot of problems the last 2-3 weeks

from not loading at all (for a moment the entire website of CC.com not)
to that the login screen loads but you cannot press the blue login button.. the cursor does change hovering over it.. but it does not register any clicks...

currently I am logged in.. but the room reads as NULL
and I don't see myself or anybody else on the tab on the right... only ccbot
I can open the mic.. and than I do see my picture in a speakwindow.

but basicly it been two weeks now how no chat... due all these errors.
and when it worked in march.. often it was just 2 or 3 people in the chat anyway...
so having connection problems like this does not help

I know it is a beta.. and they are working on it.. just wanted to report.. that it has been quite unstable recently.

I just checked last night and again this morning. There was nobody in chat either time, so I can't really test if it is functioning properly.

(I am using the windows/pc version of the app not the android/phone version)

I am currently camping in the chat.. have been most of the day...
but the odd part is..

on the top left it reads room name "Null"
-I can't remember seing the room having that name before..
**and while it does not have to mean anything.. in programming NULL often is the result you get when your code misderects.

and on the right side.. where the icon with my own name should be.. it does not show.
-> so it's not just I don't see no others logged in.. I don't see MYSELF either.
the circle.. with the name on the right tab.. it does not show, only that of ccbot, my own does not apear below it.

these two things combines makes me suspect that somehow something has been altered in the app so than it now does not fully connected you but instead creates basicly a localised room on your own pc only.. downling only the basic page layout from the server but not connecting your imput to the server..
basicly your kind of running an offline version of the url in a way..

I'm logged in there now but all I see is the CCBot. I posted and it showed up, but I don't see anyone else. Maybe if they post I'll see them; but from what I remember about chat rooms there was a running list of who was logged in.

I leave myself logged in.. try typing something when you are logged in.. (or open a speak window.. but I don't know if I be afk just as you do that).. in any way.. it would confirm if at least we can hear/read eachother even if the list of logged in people does not show..
or if indeed this is a full failure to connect.

Do you know the meaning of the word null? .\

It certainly may be a very valid clue...

In other news, the forums have been very spotty lately also.

Two weekends ago was especially bad. Go Daddy..

that godaddy was normal. basicly you have to pay "rent" on renting your web-adres.
the rent was due and not yet paid.
thats what the whole GoDaddy thing was, after paying.. which I guess did not happen imediatly as as the side admin was moving and thus very busry that weekend and might not have noticed imediatly.
-as soon as the rent was paid everything came back online.

as for the NULL
in programming.. a null value, is put in code on purpose to show up.. when you are linked you to an invalid object or adress.
which in this case COULD hint at "not being connected propertly"

-however it can also be used as an placeholder.. in this case there is no code for multiple rooms yet.. thus the room being null might not be an issue here but just due there no code yet for more than 1 room.

without knowing the exact code it can be either related to the current issue or not.

but like I stated I have not been able to properly log in for about 2 weeks now..
It worked fine in march but all of april I only was able to properly log in twice... once just after the page url was renewed..

the type of errors vary.. sometimes no loading screen at all
most often it would not let you prett the log in button (basicly it being an empty placeholder)
currently it does but it still not seem to connect you correctly with the name not showing on the right tab a new bug I not seen before..

I don't know what they changed in the betacode.. but it pretty much working fine in march and now being one buggy mess..

and while it IS a beta.. feedback helps for beta

Okay, I am off w*rk, at home and I have dug out my old backup phone and I am leaving it logged in on chat. I think.

I will ostensibly leave it logged in until I go to bed tonight. Let's see what happens.

So this proves there is no real chat right now.

sadly that is than indeed confirmed.. well waiting till somebody fixes it properly it is than.
