It is tragic that hatred of the Jews keeps happening over and over in history. There was Haman The Agagite trying to wipe out the Jews in the time of Esther, and Antiochus Epiphanies, the King of Greeks, trying to wipe out the Jews and their whole culture in the time of The Maccabees. Then there were The Rhineland Massacres during The First Crusade, which was lead by Count Emicho. Then the persecutions and attempts at annihilation under the the Third Reich. Now we have Protestors in the US being urged to hate Jews in name of Free Palestine.
What stirs this antisemitism? Why are Jews the targets? It is something that I asked my dear friend and Jewish Professor. He did not have an answer. I know the first two pogroms, the Time of Esther and Maccabees is seen as an attempt to stop the Line of David, The Messiah, our Lord Jesus from Coming. But what of the First Crusade and The Third Reich, and now The Protests (which thankfully have no turned into true pogroms)? Could it be that the devil wants to stop the 144,000 from being Sealed (Revelation 7:1-8)? It says the 144,000 have to be from The Twelve Tribes, the number come to its fullness before next events of the Apocalypse can happen. Is Satan as my brother believes, trying to postpone his final destruction? (Revelation 20:10). For Scripture does tell us, "for the devil knows his time is short." (Revelation 12:12).
It makes some sense, the earlier persecutions Satan stirring up hearts to stop the Savior from coming the first time to bear sin, and now to stop the prophecies of the Original Root and Twelve Tribes that lead to Second Coming of Christ.
