They have been raised up with doctrines, to make the immune to God. They have doctrines in their head from their child hood and up, that prevent them from becoming christian.

In this world we have to allow our children to be exposed to the things of the world. We should do like wise, make them immune to the Devil. At least the best we can come up with. Being exposed to the world with the doctrines of God, and some immunity, they will be stronger immune to it.

'We overcame by the testimony of the blood of the lamb.'

Jesus Said, '...AT least believe me for the works sake.'

The biggest problem today is that no one is teaching God's word chapter by chapter and verse by verse to learn what God has to say instead of listening to the words of men that make void the word of God. How many today actually read God's word?

I do not know, revivals are sparking in The UK and US now, and young men between 26-35 are getting saved. I think there is always ebb and flow.

The biggest obstacle to endurance in the race of faith is the foundation. Too many teach the "Name it and Claim it" Prosperity Gospel that turns Jesus into Mammon (god of money) and will give you mansions and melt away all your problems, when Jesus said you must choose who to serve, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon (god of money, Satan see Ezekiel 28:16) " (MTTH) and that at some point the whole world will hate us for being Jesus followers, "then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. " (Matthew 24:9).

There was a big movement in the mid 2000s.. movies like Facing the Giants.. War Room, God's not dead, Courageous..came out.. I was with Campus Crusade for Christ doing evangelism with them as a student.

It was exciting times.. but come the 2010s..many of those involved in this.. went with the world. Alot of peeps I knew stopped attending church and stopped speaking about Christ.

There is always that point God brings a believer to (if they one) ..where they commit against the world's main stream..be faithful..or give up/compromise.

Nowadays that line of worldly vs faithful Christian is being blurred rather than clearly defined.

I remember those days, when there was Christian bookstores in every town, and even Christian apparel stores in malls. Now they are all gone.

Yes, and I have wondered whether being brain-washed will be an excuse or mitigating circumstance at the Judgment.
I know that because of my wonderful Christian upbringing that I would have no excuse for apostasy.

Yes, and topic by topic, connecting and harmonizing diverse verses with the goal of becoming spiritually mature (2Tim. 3:15-17) and able to explain good reasons for faith/hope of salvation (1Pet. 3:15-16).

I remember these times too. We had a group from Campus Outreach come to our church every summer for a beach project. We had alot of them come to the house for lunch after church. We spent the afternoon listening to testimonies. Good times.

So sorry I didn't see your post as CC didn't tell me about it.
We should allow them to be exposed to it. Not so much as make them exposed to it. What they could end up with is cultural shock type of thing. Suddenly without warning it happens to them, seeing and hearing these things they never heard of before.

They should not be ignorant of the devil's devices. But in the youth, they need guidance, helping them survive the temptations. For example, being able to recognize when one is being tempted.

Yes, and in my experience the needed guidance was apologetics or teaching answers to questions beyond how to be saved.

Yup we did beach projects every summer thru what you guys call CRU. The thing about it though was it was run by Americans.. and they had their own way of running it which was grounded in the Word. Once they left back to the States.. the club took on NZ leadership not as mature/grounded and became more of a social club.

airs interesting this part you said

“They have doctrines in their head from their child hood and up, that prevent them from becoming christian.”

That’s what happened to israel who were born into and brought up upon Moses doctrine

“and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

see if I’m raised up hearing this is Gods word

“And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭21:23-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If I’m convinced that’s Gods word ….then this must be wrong when someone says thisnis actually Gods word

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬

If im raised with and taught that this is Gods principle

“And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

then this must be wrong

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36‬ ‭

“show no pity accuse judge and condemn and punish the guilty sinner do not relent or show them pity you must purge the evil from among you “

v “ forgive when someone offends you turn the other cheek be merciful forgive seven times seventy in a day don’t hold grudges don’t judge and condemn other sinners don’t put anyone to death ect

you are right if a person is born and hears Islamic doctrine for a while and they believe it , it becomes a brick wall n thier mind . Thier faith compartment is already filled up and they believe it’s just they believe a fallacy

One of the signs I think will be that the End is neigh, is that there will be a generation or generations completely immune to the Gospel of Christ, they will be so conditioned in the Antichrist's Doctrine, the "preaching the gospel to all nations and then the end will come," (Matthew 24:14) will be fulfilled. I thought we were headed that way.

Who is to say most are not saved? The Gospel is simple......Maturity and the "meat" take discipline, time and dedication.

I would venture to guess that we will be more shocked at who is NOT in the kingdom rather than who is.

Because we don't save anyone.

I think the interpretation that most will not get saved comes from these words of Jesus,
"But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:14) and "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" (Matthew 7:22-23).

Yes, we can hope many will be saved, although Jesus said the way is narrow.
And I agree with your guess, but what I wonder is how many make it who had only general revelation available to them.

Make it?

Know you are a sinner, needing deliverance and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will receive eternal life.

It's that simple.

The way you look at the "narrow" verse is open to interpretation.

We don't have to "hope" that many will be saved. We KNOW many will be saved.

Acts 16:31 and John 3:16 as a WIDE open path. General revelation. Simple. Believe and Be saved. TODAY is the day of salvation.

The Narrow path is designated for believers who ADVANCE and ENDURE......And a believer who is advancing is NOT thinking Loss of salvation, forfeiting salvation or walking away from salvation.

Anyone who is growing in His Grace and Knowledge will NEVER think of perishing or condemnation.
