Christians don't go to bars right. it's not an option right? just wondering.
no, not true. lots of Christians drink alcohol. a bit here & there is not sin. i drink a few here & there in the summer time, basically from May to November. no where in the Bible does God teach: "do not drink alcohol". by course, there is plenty of teaching not to drink to excess. Ephessians 5:18- "and be NOT DRUNK with wine wherein is excess......" Proverbs 23: 31,32 ".......for at the last, it biteth like a serpent & stingeth liker an adder".

Don't tell my Pastor 🤫 I take a glass of wine sometimes joking. My worry is not wine but the bar area with all that go on there would it not lure a Christian to sin?

no. this girl i am talking about was the last g.f. before i met my wife. you are probably thinking, "you dated her for decades & didn't marry her"? well, i thought that to be strange also. Jesus must have known something i didn't know because we never talked about getting married & she was a sweet Christian girl.
Oh I hope she is married too because a decade is much time.

I could if I wanted to.

I could also hang out at a brothel with no intention of ever using one of the girls there, just hanging around chatting. But what would be the point?

it can lure a Christian to sin but that's where the Christian implies strength to resist sin. James 4:7 submit yourselves, therefore to God, RESIST the devil & he will flee from you".

Oh I see. Are there any Bible related video games? just curious
They are incredibly rare, there was a Left Behind video game.

The closest was The First Templar, when to heal you had to pray as a Christian Knight, and it played like an Asssassin's Creed game. Though it had some gore, some Free Mason symbols (ugh.. Templars were destroyed in 1307-12 A.D., Masons do not appear till 1600's), and it has The Spanish Inquistion, though its an enemy.

A real missed opportunity is to do a high budget John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress Video Game and make it like The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Oh dear. that's sad. Here we have one word for every sad situation, we don't say sorry or receive my condolences, We just say Ashia (it's pidgin English). so Ashia Karlon she is definitely in a better place.

I would say resist by fleeing from bars

Truly, what's the point?

The point am making is we are never too mature for sin. The youngest or the oldest believer can still fall in sin. my solution is just flee from the sin before it comes.

best way.
hard experience here. the only gurantee is to be unable to reach or reach in a comfortable amount of time the sinful desire.

Indeed, I found if you did not have escapes like fiction, you burn out.
Yes I agree . I know some Christians who never watch TV never read a novel or listen to non religious music . I can't b like that . I did try for a long time but I realise now looking back that I was very stressed and tense when I lived like that . God is with me in my heart all day every day , no matter where I am or what I'm doing He is just a thought away and I think about Him many times in my day . I take time to study my Bible and say my prayers every day . I confess I still don't watch much TV but I do occasionally , I read a lot of novels and listen to music a lot and at the moment I'm playing No Man's Sky on an evening , my husband is away most of this month so I need to b distracted from my loneliness for him . We r in this world until His Kingdom comes and as long as we guard our hearts from getting to embroiled in the ways of this world and choose out distractions carefully , we can keep a good balance , I hope ! 😜

I thread very careful in the secular. some movies people just go nak*d and do some things I am not sure I want to pollute my brains with. In Cameroon there is Bitkusi and these guys sing only about immoral stuffs. so lyrics matter, content matter. I like "Jax like my father" but my parents were like cat and mouse so I feel guilty singing that.
