I am relatively sure we are living in Brave New World, not 1984, we will be controlled by our access to pleasures not need totalitarian taskmasters.

AI will be instrumental in this, able to feed many pleasures of people. In a way it probably will be considered a god, like the Man I heard about who lives in San Fransisco California who started the Church of A.I.

In a way, A.I. could be Satan's counterfeit for becoming omnipresent and omniscient..

That was an incredible movie. My daughter and I considered watching it many times, but passed
it over continually because it sounded kind of creepy, but it was in actual fact quite amazing.
Joaquin had done such a convincing job playing Caesar in Gladiator that I disliked him until "Her":giggle:
Speaking of creepy, HBO has an AI relationship movie out called “Companion”.
Some inappropriate stuff, but it does illustrate exactly where we are very soon headed.

Interesting point for sure.
I got the idea from Rob Bell who fell, I do not recommend his books anymore because he denies heaven and hell exist in his horrid book "Love Wins." It's so sad.. he really had a gift at explaining stuff and then got deceived because he was "unevenly yoked" to a close friend who was an Atheist that died.

i have a question:have any of you actually talked to an ai? because i tried a simple conversation, stArted by asking about the meaning of life and then just a simpe chat and its easy to understand how someone could form a serious bond with A llm or ai.
note. i did ask for its name and it replied that it is ony designed to answer questions based on language. next im going to ask if it can think for itself or is self aware.
also my model is simpleish. it is having trouble writing poety. but it can use latin and greek proficiently.

I have used ChatGPT a few times. I have used it to help edit some things I was writing for the newspaper.

What I found very funny was asking it difficult questions about the Bible. It would come back with "there are different opinions on this". Imagine some poor AI doing a little research on what the Bible scholars say on various topics, can you imagine the variety of answers?

mine said that "because i am an ai large language model i cannot have my own beliefs, however, that question is a highly sensitive etc. etc. topic. etc. etc. Christians believe that blah blah....

would you like me to answer any more questions from a christian viewpoint?"

A lady in my church said she got a birthday card from her dog. I'm sure it was her husband that wrote the card and not the dog, but still another sign of the times.

2 Timothy 3:1 says there will be terrible times in the last days. We're in the last days, we should prepare ourselves for challenges as we continue to stand for God, for righteousness and for what used to be common sense, it's no longer common.

God Bless You all :)

God bless you and welcome 🙏
