Yes I believe that's true it's been said that at 12am many evil people awake while 3 am devil worshipers have their gatherings ect. I think they chose that time becuase its opposite of when jesus died on the cross for our sins.This. While Christians around the world have midnight prayer and morning prayers (4-5am)
Blain my sister was also a wiccan shortly before she came down with her illness. Perhaps you could tell her that a man could loose all but his mind is something no one wants to loose.
Dear Daisy, we strategize but they strategize harder. They are always at work the only reason we sleep well is because our God keeps watch on us. the Bible says he gives us sleep. in this part of Africa, the sub Saharan, we have the "ember months" Every one know this period is a time for witches, wizards, occults to drink blood. During this period there are a lot of accidents taking place, sacrifices and many evil. so Christians pray a lot for these months so they just changed the ember months became quieter and as soon as January starts they hit and hard and they are generally dispersing their activities through out the year.

Pray in to the Future. Pray for sound sleep for the night even from the morning prayer. Pray for the next 5 or 10years, pray for children and husband and wives even if they are there already or still to come. speak to God in whispers, in tears, lying down, standing, walking, driving, all the time.

Truth is tho, nowhere in Scripture is a Christian delivered from a demon. Yes the Soothsayer woman, and Simon The Sorceror were dealt with, but they were not Christians. So the question remains, why are Christians getting delivered from demons in their "solarplexes" and strongholds inside them and etc, when there is no deliverance of Christians in The New Testament; yes unbelievers and those first getting saved, but other than that we have no Scripture to support deliverance ministry of Christians.

While I believe supernatural warfare is real, the devil is real, and demons, and that Jesus told us to caste them out. My issue is with Christians becoming preoccupied by demons, because to me its bondage, the Scripture says, "Fix your eyes on Christ, the Author nad Prefector of your faith," (Hebrews 12:2) and "I count all things lost but knowing Jesus.." (Philippians 3:9). If something takes your eyes off Jesus and has you fixated on it, then it is error.
Before coming to Christianity many people had gotten involved with many Evil spirits some swore oaths. and some have covenants with spirits so they need to be delivered. They have to renounce it

I am reminded of Galatians 3 where Paul said, 1You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? 2This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

Do you think the church is living in dark days where mysterious & exciting things are dominating them & steering them from the truth?
I think some things happen in the church to distract us from the things God wants us to do. Even now we are being distracted from what matters most.
If you wonder why everything seem to be cooling off in our spiritual lives, remember Christ is still the same yesterday, today, & forever.
God isn't changing: WE ARE.

that is exactly what I am asking, did they or did they not trample against them? did they or did they not stand in his authority, you can take my tales out of the equation and just answer this question, I don't care if you believe me or not that is fine but I am asking this to prove a point.

And anyways the reason I testify is not to brag but it is for the benifet of anyone reading our posts, many are going through spiritual battles as we speak and they need to know we are overcomers and that we have the authority in Christ given to us by himself they need to eb encouraged and strengthened

Again just disregard my testimonies and answer the question
So now its a testimony. If a person has a continued and ongoing demonic presence in their house or room or whatever, there is a problem that is not being dealt with. You don't know who you are talking to or how much I or anyone really, know or don't know but you have decided that you are in the place to be rude and demand answers so you can check qualifications.

Bragging is not a good habit and you appear to believe you have some authority to do so. I wonder how high you would jump if someone came up behind you and said boo.

No, God has not changed and everything He has made available to us is still available but we have to make the effort to avail ourselves of it. It seems half the people in this forum do not believe that the Holy Spirit still is the third person of the Trinity. They have relegated Him to the pages of the Bible; another time/another place/ anyone but us and not now.

The Bible speaks of a form of godliness without the power.

having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! II Tim. 3:5

Ocean, you seem to be a very contentious person. You know there's a reason our Lord called us gentiles dogs-many of us fight like dog's.

Okay let's say we disregard all the testimonies of all the Christians worldwide and we are left with a few that never have to struggle with the devil or the bogeyman as you say. Do these people live alone or wander the desert like Jesus?

Quite the poser. It did not go YOUR way is all. This is a forum and you are not running it.
I was never rude to you and the reason I wanted an answer to the question was not to judge or anything and clearly you do not know me very well if you think think this the reason I wanted an answer to the question that you still refuse to answer was to show that if we stand in his authority we overcome evil because if he is for us who can be against us right?
The only oen being rude here is you and also if someone is struggling with actual spiritual warfare and they do not trample against the demons they are dealing with then we need to encourage and help them to learn to stand in his authority.
many read our posts whether a user or a guest and many struggle with spiritual warfare so every word we speak can either encourage and strenghten them or not I have no issue discussing these things as long as it will help someone else but your insults and your clear distain towards me is of no benifet to anyone so I am not going to engage you in it.

Remember the fruits of the spirit.

I will always contend with those who misrepresent scripture and twist it or add to it. I have struggled plenty and overcome. It would be wise if people who do not know others kept their judgemental comments to themself.

If you still see yourself as a dog, I would suggest a good study of who we are in Christ.

ps: Jesus did not wander in the desert. He made Himself very visible.

I do not owe you or the other person any explanation of who I am or what I do or have done. I don't really know you or Blain and I do not believe in his demonic exploits as I am sure many others who know the subject don't either. It appears he will defend his stories forever though and I quite expect him to do so.

One thing lacking in this forum and certainly this thread, is focusing on Jesus. Demons though? Oh yeah. Lets' talk about those and tell each scary stories. Not playing

It is YOU who badgered me with zero knowledge of me simply because I do not believe all your demon stories. That is my prerogative and I have offered no 'there there' to you as some do so that irks you.

Tell me how much experience do you have in actual spiritual warfare? Demons have mainfested before me have pinned me down tried to rip me apart each one stronger than the last each one with the authority of Christ have been sent back to hell
Have you ever encountered actual demons? I am not ignorant I stand in Christ if he is for us who can be against us?

Some of them I will admit were so strong I struggled to fiight against them it wss in this time I had to have Jesus himself shield me and fight for me but regardless when I was not strong enough he was. Jesus wants us to learn to be warriors against the forces of darkness if you give them any room at all they will overtake you you need to learn to understand and stand in the authoirty we have in Christ otherwise they will have all the power you let them have

Again I ask how much experience do you have in spiritual warfare and have you encountered actual demons?
The above is how you responded to me because I am critical and less that persuaded of your experiences.

Grow up. This is a forum and not your personal little space to demand anything of anyone.

You do you though and some will be in awe of all your stories. I pass on them so get over it. Done talking to you as the focus of a believer's life should not ever be demons or demon stories.

I really have no more patience for your nonsense Blain.

I have been saying, "Fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Prefector of your faith," (Hebrews 12:2) and "I count all things lost but knowing Christ, I discard all things, counting them as rubbish that I may gain Christ." (Philippians 3:8).

That is what is missing so very often. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and we are and have nothing without Him. Thank you

The Apostle actually says that is the mature Christian path,
"Everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ.[c] For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you." (Philippians 3:8, 15).

In the full thought of those words of St. Paul, he says its spiritual maturity to "count all things lost but knowing Jesus."

Jesus casted out many demons and they even trembled before him begging for mercy, he is our example and so I am wondering if we who are in Christ should cast demons out the same way? and also as for Jesus being the focus yes this is true but I will say some are learning from this thread oh btw did you get the song I sent you?

But His focus was not Deliverance Ministry, it was preaching The Kingdom of God, and coming to be The Lamb of God for our Sins. Yes he caste out demons, but it was not the focus on any of the Gospels, or even the Epistles.
