They took this to the Supreme court. Let me explain how trivial this is. When I homeschooled my kids it was "not accredited". So what, no one cares. They were allowed to take state and federal exams like Regents exams, HS entrance exams and SAT. The colleges look at those scores, your kid does very well on those exams and the college determines that your homeschooling was superior to the Public school. Now I can understand why this Catholic school would want accreditation, but in the final analysis it will be meaningless. Oklahoma's public school has historically been at the very bottom of all public schools in the nation. Not being accredited by them could be seen as a badge of honor and a reason to go to this school.

Anyway if the graduates of this school do significantly better on the SAT than Oklahoma public school kids then that is what will really matter to parents and college admission.
