Everything I know about God and His word says those who have been blessed with wealth should help the poor. If that's Godliness, then the opposite must be of Satan.
If you are talking about giving your own money to help the poor then yes, that would certainly align with God's word in the New Testament. On the other hand if you are talking about burdens other people need to lift then that is what Jesus referred to as the hypocrites who bind heavy burdens on others and don't lift them with their own fingers.

Hopefully he does things for the needy with a sincere heart and not just for appearances sake.
Trump has given money, helped people in need, there are all kinds of people that have come out and said how he and his family helped them out. No one would have known unless these people told their stories. Judge not.

Those are nice thing to hope for but he won't do it. All he cares about are tax breaks for the wealthy at the expense of the most vulnerable; and gratifying his own ego. Satanic is a strong word but I think in his case it applies.
Nice things to hope for, that would be gas station sushi. From what we know about Trump if he says he is going to do something he does it.

It seems to me that all you care about in your posts is slandering Trump. Satanic is a strong word, but when you are talking about slander and speaking evil of dignitaries according to the New Testament it applies.

Well, here we go, the Donald planning to use the military on US soil to quell the riots in LA. I have a hard time believing this wasn't planned. Send in the National Guard to stir things up and give them an excuse to use the military. Dictatorship here we come.

Step 1: Military on the southern border. Step 2: Federalizing the National Guard. Step 3: Use of military on US citizens. Time to wake up.

So we should let people destroy federal property and intimidate law enforcement and inhibit them performing their legal duties? How would you handle this situation?

I thought California had trained a special division of social workers for these kind of events.

You, along with many other confused leftists who can't tell reality from your fantasies anymore.
All of you lost and are bound to lose for a 3rd time.

I saw a one on one interview with a news person and Donald Trump sometime ago. The interviewer was trying to get Trump to say that he had a need for forgiveness one time in his life. Donald said no he lived a good life he never felt the need for forgiveness. I would like to suggest that someone who has never felt the need for forgiveness, cannot have accepted Jesus as their savior and lord. That requires, realizing we are sinner confessing our sins repenting, and asking Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. And after that, it means following scripture. Scripture asked us to feed the hungry give water to the thirsty, provide the needs of the sick. This is in Matthew five. Trump‘s policies kicking people off of Medicaid is not in alignment with these kingdom goals.
Everyone have a blessed day.
Context is very important. There is a big difference between what a public figure says in public and what he says privately. No one is perfect, including Trump, but a public figure, must be careful about what he says, in public which can easily be used by his opponents or the media to undermine or destroy him or her, or even face unnecessary lawsuits. Everyone and that includes Trump has done or said things, that they needed or asked for forgiveness, but it is not necessary or required for public figures to talk about or admit to every little thing that they said wrong or did wrong. As for his Christian faith, it is a matter of public record, that more than once Trump has visited churches and has been visited by preachers that believe in Romans 10:9-10 .

I'll preface this by saying I don't support what Biden was planning to do, if what Noem says is true. However, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly they flip flop depending on which way the wind is blowing. They know they're on record most of the time and they simply don't care. I have a feeling I'll be in for a very long wait waiting for Kristi Noem to criticize the Donald for trampling on states' rights.

God's word, both OT and NT, recognizes degrees of crimes and/or sins. Treating someone who crossed the border illegally but has lived peacefully and has not harmed anyone or committed any other crimes, the same as dangerous criminals, is not Christian but is cruel and unjust and I can guarantee the Lord isn't happy about it.

On top of this, we were sold the idea of deportation on the basis of making the US safe and deporting dangerous criminals. Now they're going after innocent children, students whose free speech they don't like, they smashed in a guy's car window in Boston who it turned out wasn't even the guy they were looking for, they arrested a member of Congress in NJ just for visiting and ICE facility. They're out of control; and people wonder why there are protests. I'd be shocked if there weren't protests. This is the USA, not N. Korea or Russia.
