We are not supposed to be burying our heads in the sand.

By definition "wolves in sheep clothing" are a conspiracy. If you have three or more people working together to commit a crime secretly then that is a conspiracy. Surely we have been warned repeatedly to be on the lookout for this by Paul and Jesus.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Here we are told that many will try to deceive us. Hence, a conspiracy.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

The Media is designed to manipulate you, but they are only one arm of the conspiracy. The government, the intelligence community pulls the strings on the media, they leak these "rumors of war" and in order to have a real war you have to have an army. Again, by definition this is a conspiracy.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

These are all part of the process. Prior to fighting a war armies will typically try to wipe out the food supply and cause a famine. This is how the US government fought against the Native Americans, they hired people to kill Buffalo with repeater rifles. If they could wipe out the food supply of the Native Americans they would defeat them. Again, a conspiracy.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Who is Jesus referring to by "they"? Family, friends, coworkers, police, judicial system. Again, we would call this the "deep state", also a conspiracy.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Once again this term "many" means this is a conspiracy. We are in a spiritual war, we are not supposed to be ignorant, why would any genuine Christian advise other Christians that it is better to be ignorant of Satan's devices? We are not supposed to be burying our heads in the sand.
Satan is powerless against the Children of God. To suggest otherwise is to suggest the Father does not protect who are His. When you are brought before authorities, in attempt to be snared, the Spirit of the Father speaks through you. A true enemy, one with ability to actually harm you, does not broadcast the how, why and whens of its attack.

When weak, act strong. The world is in its death throes.

Your worrying does nothing but distract you. All are free to carry on as they wish, but "research" into myths, gossip and news does nothing but just that - re-search. You are redoing a search again for the Truth that you really ought to be speaking with.

That has nothing to do with what I shared. To not be ignorant of Satans devices does not imply that we are afraid of them, rather that we are prepared for them.

Brothers and Sisters,

You are either walk by faith in Spirit, or by fear in the flesh. If you believe that you are Christ's, then what do you have to gain from reading the worries of the world?.
I get what you're saying, but flip-side -
In 2020, we were told covid originated from bats, not a lab. We were forced to abandon our loved ones in hospitals, banned from attending funerals and church, and forbidden in many cases from going to parks and beaches, or traveling more than a mile or two from home. Anyone daring to research and speak against the government propaganda were called liars, conspiracy nutjobs, and promptly cancelled and fired.

- Take the safe and effective vaccine and you're 100% protected!
- Update: Take the vaccine and you're kind of mostly protected! Still safe and effective!
- Update: Well, you're going to need boosters, lots and lots of boosters.
- Update: We never actually tested the vaccine, so you may develop a few life threatening side effects such as death. But not to worry, just do your part and you'll be fine!

Remember all that? What was called conspiracy has been proven to be true over and over again. There's nothing wrong with looking for truth among the lies when the times call for it. It was definitely beneficial to understand the globalist agenda behind it all and make informed decisions, especially when it came to the vaxx. I thank God that He called me to be a Berean and question everything.

Everything that the C👁️A or some random person claims, is not necessary a conspiracy. There are all kinds of lies presented constantly by government agencies, media, medical systems, big pharma and maligning individuals.
However, Conspiracies are facts of life.
Conspiracies are large parts of history.
To deny the basic concept that conspiracies exist is to close your senses to reality, close the history books and close the Bible to investigation.
Anyone who wishes to know the truth, can ask God,investigate and know truth from error.

You are missing my point. I am not against you.

The powers of this world told you to fear. God told you to never fear, nor act on your fears. If you act from your fear, it will result in His law being broken. Fear leads to idolatry, covetousness, jealousy, hatred, and death. However, as the LORD is always with His children, they should never fear, never place faith in anything else, and always know they will be provided and cared for. Never act from fear but always from Love, strength and humility.

I assure you that this very pattern appears over and over and over again. From the small things, to the monumental. This world bombards people with fear and it never serves them.

It seems that you feel compelled to disprove a god instead of knowing God. I say do not meddle with the world and play by its rules, you are no longer of the world. If you attempt to play by its rules instead of the rules given to us by the One above the world, you will be caught in the middle, forced to pick a side. One side tells you to be frantic, fearful and compulsive. The other side tells you to be still and know.

Let the government call you whatever ever they wish. Trust in the LORD, abide in Him, follow his teachings, and all is well.

God and His creation are far more wonderfully amazing than most know. Do not forget, God is sovereign. I'll leave you with this to think on:

The world were told about a crown, many around the world knelt down and outreached their arm to receive it. But before they could receive the crown, they had to trust in the crown-giver. This commitment required something that many refused to give it, for these others knew that in fact both the crown and the commitment was a lie. The others sometimes didn't know how or why, but they just knew it was not for them. And then it was revealed that the crown-giver was only a prince and had no authority to grant any crown. Eventually both the prince and his false kingdom will pass away, leaving behind the King and His very real Kingdom.

There's a whole lot of false assumptions and unfounded accusations in your post -

If you believe that you are Christ's, then what do you have to gain from reading the worries of the world?... The powers of this world told you to fear. God told you to never fear, nor act on your fears.
Keeping up with current events and learning isn't sinful. It's through current events that we see prophecy fulfilled and know the signs of the times.

God tells us to watch, to question, and to be alert. God trumps you all day, every day.

I assure you that this very pattern appears over and over and over again. From the small things, to the monumental. This world bombards people with fear...
Do you honestly believe that anyone in this thread doesn't already know this?

It seems that you feel compelled to disprove a god instead of knowing God. I say do not meddle with the world and play by its rules...
Wow. Where are you even getting this nonsense from? It's a false assumption and false accusation.

Let the government call you whatever ever they wish. Trust in the LORD, abide in Him, follow his teachings, and all is well.
Where did I say I cared what the government called me? I didn't. I pointed out the fact that governments cried 'conspiracy theory' to shut down all resistance. Many so-called 'conspiracy theorists' are Christian. I thank God that He gave them the courage to speak the truth, such as during covid.

Back to the main point: Many conspiracy theories are often proven to be TRUE, and therefore useful to know. There's no shame or sin in discussing, learning, exposing lies, and applying scripture to current events.

Welcome to CC and that's a brilliant comment. Heh! Think the most dangerous conspiracy to succeed is the one to make people believe conspiracies don't exist.

I used to be deeply involved with conspiracy theories and stories. I couldn't see it at the time but looking back it seems like it was a kind of mental illness. I'm so thankful the Lord set me free from that and gave me back my sanity.
Think i know what you mean, until last March, i knew a lot about what was really behind many events and terrified for the future of my children. I knew there was nothing we could do to change the path we were going down.

It's so beautiful knowing that whatever happens, it is time to hold our heads up because he will sort out all the evil at the perfect moment. Nor do i feel the same terror for my children, they are responsible for their relationship or lack of one with Him, doesn't stop me loving them but they must make their own choice.

However, i do keep a close eye on events, such knowledge has often give me a good lead in opening spiritual conversation with non-believers. Also like being aware of/understanding current and likely events, different strokes for different folks.

Oh yes! Don't feel guilty if you still have interest in what's really going on. Posting links to both a Christian British and an American site, who report on and discuss conspiratorial news happily:

https://expose-news.com/

https://thewinepress.substack.com/

The archives of both are worth looking through.
Interest is an interesting word isn't it.

It means to benefit or gain advantage from. Now wickedness certainly exists, nobody here thinks otherwise. However, I have made it clear that it does not benefit or give you an advantage.

I looked at one of your links. It has a fear-mongering story about a depopulation plan. Some world wide event with mass population loss. Now, have a think where in the Bible such an event could be described. Ask yourself, is there anything that you need to do, or is God going to take care of who trust in Him? If you believe in God, you will trust in Him. If you believe the world, you will trust it.

I am offering help not hindrance. I am saying what has been said before. I am suggesting peace, calm and love rather than anxiety, distress and hate.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

That longwinded post reeks of pontification to me, not spirituality or wisdom. Experienced a lot of it here over the past few days and your comment bears little relation to mine.
