Prayer for my Father, he was hurt by a Christian Cult that has caused him to lose all interest in things of the Lord. For a while he kept at Bible Studies, and so forth, but now he doesn’t even pray at dinner like he use to.

I do not feel judgemental, I went through dark time of soul myself, but came out on the other side. He seems stuck, please pray for him, that he finds his way back to Christ.

He has retired, and his job was his whole purpose, and now he is feel ing futile. So this is the moment I think that God could reach him.

Thanks for your prayers,

SirSola

I pray the Holy Spirit comes upon this intended life with renewed awareness
and a new yearning for God's love to fill any void.
'Amen'

My earthly father was a difficult man to get along with. He took my brother and I to church while we were growing up. This left a bad impression on my brother who now wants nothing to do with Jesus and the Church. I take my nephew to church on occasion and it probably bothers my brother even though he doesn't tell me.

Can we pray for one another's family, and for each other... Dear Heavenly Father, I need the Holy Spirit's guidance with how to speak to him more about this without driving him further away. And for the Holy Spirit to do the same work in their lives as He has done in ours. In Jesus name, Amen

It's easy sonetimes to equate what we see from our earthly father with the Heavenly Father, though they may be polar opposites. It's also a reminder that we're the only Jesus sone will ever see. That's humbling.
Dear Lord, I pray that this brother will have encounters with many Christians including his brother who truly know you, who live the life, walk the walk. Let Him really see You, Jesus and feel your love. Soften His heart, Holy Spirit. Draw him to You with a hunger. Reveal to him the real love of a father. In the Name that's above all Names, Jesus! Amen.

Thank you, Shoshie! That's a very kind prayer. I see you getting closer to the Lord, and I pray each of us continues in doing so
