Because you need that verse to be unconditional.
Is John 19:30 unconditional?
Rarely are words unconditional and when they are it is quite obvious.
If verses such as Genesis 12:17, Genesis 15:18, Deuteronomy 1:8 or Amos 9:15 are unconditional then the Bible is a farce!
The nation of Judah ceased to exist in 70 AD and nothing that happened in 1948 can change this fact.
Labeling such verses as unconditional makes the Bible unreliable.
God caused the destruction of Judah. We should not follow foolish notions about self-proclaimed "Jews" bringing it back!
We should be smarter than that.

thats speaking of Abraham’s importance to these folks who accept Christ and the gospel
“Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. ……
that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

It’s not the children of flesh and blood but the children of Abraham’s faith

7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

Regardless of who, what, when or where the blessings are conditional on the "ifs".
