I'm not familiar with this man's theology but, he hit the nail on the head right here........

this is from the Article Folks

The family is first. It’s the basic building block of everything else. If the family falls apart, everything else crumbles. The Bible asks, “If the foundations be destroyed, what will the righteous do?”

This scripture quoted here is from Psalms 11 -----the Psalm of David -----

Here is the danger in quoting a piece of scripture and taking it out of Context and using it to suit what you yourself think -------this is the Psalm with more context given -----verse 3 is the verse this guy uses here to refer to how fathers are seen ---when it is not referring to earthly Fathers ------it is referring to our Heavenly Father -----

Psalm 11

The Lord a Refuge and Defense.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

11 In the Lord I take refuge [and put my trust];
How can you say to me, “Flee like a bird to your mountain;

2
For look, the wicked are bending the bow;
They take aim with their arrow on the string
To shoot [by stealth] in darkness at the upright in heart.

3
“If the foundations [of a godly society] are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?”

I say ------First off the Family is not suppose to be first -------God is First -----your are to Agape God with all your heart --soul --mind and Strength and rely on Him to sustain the family -------Not the earthly Father

Second ---Agape is the Foundation which you get by and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ---if the Father is not Born Again -----he has not this Agape in him -----If Agape fails then all else Fails ------

Jesus came dividing Families ------

Luke 12

Jesus Causes Division

49 “I have come to set the world on fire, and I wish it were already burning! 50 I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished.

51 Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I have come to divide people against each other!

52 From now on families will be split apart, three in favor of me, and two against—or two in favor and three against.

53 ‘Father will be divided against son
and son against father;
mother against daughter
and daughter against mother;
and mother-in-law against daughter-in-law

and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law

I say -------If the Father is Born Again ---then he will not need the fan fare of being made a big deal of on Father's Day ------Christ's Faith is instilled in him which gives him all the Confidence and Rewards that is needed ------

It is the same for the Mother's day ------the WORLD -says your EGO NEEDS TO BE PUFFED UP on these days but a True Christian does not need this Fan fare---their reliance is on God not the worldly Hype

True Christian Fathers and Mothers have laid EGO down ---and reside in this world but do not live as the World Lives -----

1 John 2

On Not Loving the World

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

16 ;For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

I say ------so while there is nothing wrong in this Worldly Realm of dishing out a Big Thank You to parents on these occasions ------ we need to be careful not to take Scripture out of CONTEXT and Insert one line pieces of Scripture like this person did in his article and use it to suit their agenda -------

If your Quoting Scripture in any article it should be quoted in its proper CONTEXT -------

I say --------He also Quotes Proverbs 4:1 here in his article ---

again taking one line and using it instead of showing how this Line is used in Context -------the Father here addressed is a Righteous Father not a worldly Father looking to Puff up His EGO ----by the Media ---TV COMMERCIALS ----and big Pats on the Back for bring a Father -----

King Solomon is addressing his children ------in this Scripture

AI Overview

Proverbs 4:1-2 is a heartfelt plea from a parent (traditionally King Solomon) to their children, urging them to actively listen to and internalize their moral teachings.

It emphasizes the vital role of family in passing down generational wisdom and highlights that God's truth brings lasting insight and protection.

Proverbs 4 in Context ----this is about Children of a True Christian Father listening to gain insight into Spiritual matters -----

Proverbs 4

4 Hear, my sons, the instruction of a father, and pay attention in order to gain and to know intelligent discernment, comprehension, and interpretation [of spiritual matters].

2 For I give you good doctrine [what is to be received]; do not forsake my teaching.

3 When I [Solomon] was a son with my father [David], tender and the only son in the sight of my mother [Bathsheba],

4 ;He taught me and said to me, Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments and live.

5 Get skillful and godly Wisdom, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth.

6 ;Forsake not [Wisdom], and she will keep, defend, and protect you; love her, and she will guard you.

7 The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).

So again put Scripture in Context ------if you take the TEXT out of CONTEXT ---your left with a CON Folks ----

Don't make up your own Doctrine by using or quoting one line of Scripture ------that is my only beef with the Aritcle Folks ------

Psalm 11 has some interesting things in it

11 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

BOTH the subject and direct object here are plural pronouns. Why would a group address an individual's soul (singular) as if speaking to a group? Very interesting.

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

Here is another; a group is making ready an arrow, singular( all of them shooting one arrow?); sounds like a conspiracy. Very interesting as well.

3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

This verse SEEMS to be just stuck in there. I know it's not; it's because it's to be studied and instead of just reading over the surface. First, i would say that any important "foundations" would not be "God"; they would be things established BY God. I'm not going to speculate as to what those "foundations", mentioned here, are; but I believe we can say that God established the family, man, wife, children, even grandparents, else God would not hate things like adultery, divorce and such, messing up what He established..

As to Father's Day, I don't need a pastor's accolades or "fan fare" so I won't be attending my church this coming Sunday. But I do have a fundamental need to be loved and honored by my wife and children; else God would not have decreed to that effect: "honor thy father and mother".

What Love are you speaking of here ?????------ Human love ----or Aga-Human love is very demanding and needs to feed EGO ----Human Love will fail ----the Love has to be Agape --which is a Fruit of the Spirit not this world -----

Lets have a look at this word Honored -----

if Agape is Present Honor will follow -----as Biblical Honor comes from the inner alignment with the divine ------

this is from Bible Hub on -----Honor

Lexical Summary
timé: Honor, value, price, respect

Pastoral and Discipleship Implications

Marriage and Family: Promote honor language and behavior as a gospel witness in the home.

i say ------

-If your wife is Born Again her honor for you will flow from the inside out ------ Reverence and respect for the Father's position will flow freely from the Divine within all the time ----

and if your Children are incased in the Spiritual environment they to will reverence and respect you year round not just on a One day through the year ------

Worldly Honor -- Puffs the person up ---it again feeds EGO ------when you need to feel the applause----your building up your identity on external status ------

Spiritual Honor ---comes from the Divine --------is Honoring the Father every single day by speaking well of him and lifting him up when he is not around every day ----it is an internal posture that exudes ---humility and reverence to both a Mother's and Fathers Position all year round ------
