Election by God Is According to His will, not man’s Will to believe

Thats a different phase of salvation which I probably wont spend time explaining to you since you already reject truth and are prejudiced against it.
Ok, don't explain it to me, just share what different doctrine it is. And it is a good thing you have joined us here, so now we can get the correct teachings of the Bible. Please, fill us with your knowledge. : P

Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” GJohn 6.70

Just a reminder, being chosen is not related to Salvation. Chosen is being elected to a privileged position. Even seeing this passage, I don't feel like you will revise your position on Election. All 12 disciples shared the same election.
I see. So you give your opinion with ad homs because you have no verse
telling us Judas was elected? You could have just said that instead.

All 12 were chosen to the office of an apostle, not chosen for eternal life. It is not comparable.

“Jesus answered them, ‘Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?’” (John 6:70, RSV)

John Gill:
have not I chosen you twelve; not to grace and glory, to holiness and happiness; though this was true of eleven of them, but to be apostles:

Matthew Poole:
Chosen, not to eternal life, but to the great office of an apostle. I chose but twelve amongst you, Mat 10:1-4, and of those twelve one is διαβολος, an accuser, or informer; a name by which the devil (who is the grand accuser of the brethren) is ordinarily expressed in holy writ.

EddieM, since I posted the OP of this thread on May 21st, I’ve read many of Brightfames52’s posts and I do not recall one where he was in error in his Bible theology. On the other hand, when I read your post on John 6:70, or your denial of the clear Eph. 1:4 verse, a passage came to my mind:

“About this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need some one to teach you again the first principles of God's word. You need milk, not solid food; for every one who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil.” (Heb 5:11-14 RSV)

Back to your evasion of Eph. 1:4. That verse reads in agreement with the following:

“and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain.” (Rev 13:8, RSV & ESV)

“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to perdition; and the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will marvel to behold the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.” (Rev 17:8, RSV)

By the way, I’ve searched all the Bibles in my software and do not find “Positional Truth”, so I guess it is some human theological innovation. I’ve found it best to ignore modern theological constructions not clearly found in the Bible.
