Mankind is born spirit, soul and body, just as the Godhead is three parts.

We have been through this already. Man is born dead in sin, we have no spiritual life which, is why we must be born from above. We are born body and soul only. We are born wrong from what God originally created.
If I am created in the image and after the likeness of God, and I am, then the Bible says that God is Spirit and I'm like Him, spiritually.

God is also soul, in the Son, Deity and humanity. There is nowhere in scripture you will find we are called spirits. We are souls, the essence of our humanity is found in our soul. It is why we can function intellectually, emotionally etc even though we have no spiritual life. Our personality and character is found in our souls because that is what we are.

Spirits are eternal, they don't die, and I have NEVER said that spirits die or were dead.

Correct which, is why we cannot be born with a spirit as sinners and I never said you said spirits die. We don't have a spirit it must be generated (born of God) in order for us to be saved from the consequences of sin which, is spiritual death.

I turned you off when you said there is ' no special quality to it ", speaking of the blood of Jesus.

You just don't bother reading what I say with any understanding do you! I said His blood had no special quality in comparison to every other cell in His body. Every blood cell contained the same DNA as every other cell in His body. You should have finished reading the sentence instead of turning your head away in your arrogance. Go take some biology lessons and you might gain in understanding.

Now I KNOW there is something wrong with you. I would like to be there so you can tell that to Jesus, face to face, that there was no " special quality " about His blood.

You will be and hopefully you will open your ears to actually hear what He says.

grace and peace. 👋

Faith in the promise. When Jesus came and preached to them there was no further need of faith because Faith showed up, then they received " the end of their faith, the salvation of their souls".
Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise

Demons can not possess a born-again believer.
But, they can influence a born again believer's thinking by false doctrine.

If you try to reason with someone to stop distorting what you said?
He will distort your line of reasoning.

These believers are DEAD.
DEAD to God's plan and will for their lives.

You, Maam, are foolish, and I don't usually say things like that, but with the statement you made, it's merited. You talk about strange ideas, you are the queen of strange, IMHO. The LIFE of ALL FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD. P.S. Humans have bodies.

Know and understanding what you are referring to, please?
The life of the animal is in the blood.

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement
for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life." Lev 17:11

Jesus did not physically bleed to death!
The Romans had crucifixion down to an art form.

The crucified died from asphyxiation when they could no longer push upwards to keep breathing.
That is why they broke the legs so they could no longer push upwards to breath!

Pilate was surprised to hear that Jesus was already dead!
It just did not happen that way.
Because crucifixions typically resulted in a prolonged death, often lasting days.

Pilate was surprised to hear Jesus died so soon!

True, also true some don't even need the (direct) influence of demons as their own sin nature strokes their ego so well. ;)

False doctrine is wood for their fire...

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great
number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Demonic possession is not common but also requires an active invitation by the person being possessed, just as the HS needs to be invited into a person's life. The difference is that the HS allows believers to maintain a free will, a demon overrides free will.

Where does it say in scripture we have to invite the Holy Spirit in? We are told to believe and Christ will baptize us with the Spirit. No invitation necessary.

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

As for demonic possession, there is nowhere in scripture, to the best of my knowledge, where we see an actual invitation being made. I think in particular of the young boy in Mark 9 where it is said to have started when he was a child. It is highly unlikely he knew enough as a child to make a specific invitation.

The Lord commands the demons, they do not get to do whatever they want.

According to Luke 2, when Simeon saw the Lord Jesus Christ when He was an 8 day old infant, Simeon declared "mine eyes have seen thy salvation". Simeon was led by the Spirit to the temple that day. God had promised Simeon that he would not die before he saw Messiah. Simeon was a believer under the OC who heard from God ... who was led by the Spirit. Believers under the OC rested in salvation ... the same salvation believers under the NC rest in.

Hebrews 11:39-40

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

The "some better thing" spoken of in vs 40 is the Comforter, the promise of the Father, the earnest of our inheritance. Not having received the gift of Holy Spirit does not mean those under the OC did not receive salvation.

Acts 1:1-5

1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

5 For John truly baptized with water;
but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was with His disciples the night He was taken to be crucified, recall that He said:

John 16:5-7

5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for
if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

The Lord Jesus Christ had to go through what He went through ... the crucifixion ... the resurrection ... the ascension ... before the Comforter could come.

the Comforter is the Spirit of truth – John 14:16-17; John 15:26
the Comforter is the Holy Spirit – John 14:26
the Comforter is the promise of the Father – Acts 1:4

This is "the some better thing" referred to in Hebrews 11:40. Believers under the OC received the same salvation we receive ... and some of the believers had Holy Spirit upon them ... believers under the NC receive the same salvation as those under the OC; however, under the NC, born again believers have Holy Spirit indwelling them; not just upon, but within.

the Holy Spirit indwelling the born again believer is also referred to as the "earnest" ...

2 Corinthians 1:20-22

20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Ephesians 1:12-14

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The word "earnest" is translated from the Greek word arrhabṓn which means down-payment pledge; advance-payment that guarantees the rest will be given; arrhabṓn represents full security backed by the purchaser who supplies sufficient proof they will fulfill the entire pledge (promise).

From SermonIndex:

THE BELIEVER'S "DIVINE ENGAGEMENT RING"
One form of arrabon was used for an engagement ring! God's bestowal of His Spirit is the church's irrevocable pledge, her "divine engagement ring" giving her firm assurance that she is immutably betrothed to Christ's. In the NT arrabon is used only in a figurative sense and is used to describe the Holy Spirit Who the Father has given to believers in this present life to assure them of their future and eternal inheritance.
Cole writes that...
God gives us the Holy Spirit as the down payment or earnest of the full blessing of our future redemption. In one sense, we have been redeemed by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 1:7-note). But, in another sense, our redemption is not complete until we get to heaven. Right now we can begin to enjoy the inheritance that is ours in Christ. But it’s just a foretaste of future glory. We don’t get the complete inheritance until we go to heaven.

Salvation always was ... is now ... always will be ... by grace through faith. In our day and time, the born again believer receives the gift of Holy Spirit within ... this is the "the some better thing" believers in the OT did not receive, but the salvation was the same then as salvation is now.

.
Am I mistaken or was the blood of Jesus, sprinkled on the mercy seat, the payment for the sins of the whole world? " For the law was given by Moses, BUT GRACE AND TRUTH CAME BY JESUS CHRIST." John 1:17. The OT righteous had the PROMISE of salvation, salvation IS Jesus Christ, as you quoted from Luke 2, when Simeon " saw the Lord's salvation." So grace, truth AND salvation came by Jesus Christ. Yes, the OT righteous had faith in the " promise " of salvation. Jacob, or Israel, before he died, prophesied his sons future and said in Gen. 49:18 " I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord." This was the case for all OT righteous BEFORE Jesus. They waited in Abraham's bosom, Paradise, until Salvation, Jesus Christ, sprinkled said blood on the mercy seat, then came and " led captivity captive ", "receiving the end of their faith, even the salvation of their souls." 1 Peter 1:9. The OT righteous didn't have the " down payment " or" guarantee" of salvation, which is" ( the Spirit of ) Christ in you the Hope of Glory" Colossians 1:27. This, to me, makes what they went through that much more remarkable. I believe it is the reason Jesus is the mediator of a " better covenant established upon better promises " Heb. 8:6. But we won't receive the fulness of our salvation until " Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." 1 Jn. 3:2, as those that were/are in Paradise have.

I know who and what I am. You be who and what you are. All I know is that I have proven, Biblically, that God said man has a spirit, after Adam and before Christ. But you try to intellectualize God's Word with human reasoning, so be it. " His blood had no special quality in comparison to every other cell in His body", I read every word that you posted and understood it. I still say that there's something wrong with you. You can't compare the blood of Jesus with ANYTHING else in creation, it's completely unique. His cells may have been unique also, if God needed them to be. What Jesus HAD to be was born of a woman to legally qualify to be the propitiation for the sins of mankind. What you are attempting to do is paint God in a box, the same God who created DNA, and tell people what is possible with Him and what's not. That's foolish. Sometimes confidence can be mistaken as arrogance, especially to some steeped in the wisdom and tradition of man. Be blessed.

Yes, there are things to learn.
My Bible reads " For the life of the flesh is in the blood " Lev. 17:11 " For it is the life of ALL flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof:" Lev 17:14. Although these verses are referring to dietary laws, the word ALL is significant. A person can't live without blood, so that statement holds true for ALL flesh. The rest of your post doesn't compute because I have never posted that Jesus bled out. Maybe you meant to post to someone else. There are things to learn, and also things to get right.

Is your life in your blood?
Or, is it in your soul?

Does your blood live on?
Or, does your soul?

Leviticus 17:11 was dealing only with the reality about animal life.
Not humans.

It is your soul that enters everlasting life.
Not, your body. Your body will be different from your present body.

Our present body is now from the elements of the earth.
Our new body will be from the elements of Heaven.
A body just like the glorified Christ.

Jesus body was not yet glorified until after He ascended back to Heaven.
That is why He commanded Mary at the tomb not to touch/cling to/ him!
For he had not yet ascended to the Father who would glorify Him!

Yet, God alone has had no beginning and no end.
We, all have had a beginning.

Everlasting life had a beginning and will never end.
All believers have everlasting life.

Eternal life has no beginning and never ends.
God alone is eternal life.

Eternal refers to something that has no beginning and no end, while everlasting describes something that has a beginning but lasts forever. Essentially, eternal is about timelessness, whereas everlasting indicates a duration that starts at a specific point and continues indefinitely.

Eternal Life: Often defined in John 17:3 as knowing God and Jesus Christ, emphasizing a personal relationship.
Everlasting Life: Also mentioned in John 3:16, indicating a life that begins with faith in Jesus and continues forever in heaven.

Grace is an action of God for us to be enabled by His power, to do and to think as He desires of us.

Grace is His enabling power He supplies to those who walk in grace and truth.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain.
On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace
of God that is with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may
rest upon me.
