Timing of the Day of the Lord

After Acts 2:20

20the sun shall be turned into darkness
and the moon into blood,
before the Day of the Lord comes,

Timing--- Rev 6:

12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,

After 2 Thess 2:1

2 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, we beg you, brethren, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or excited, either by spirit or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us, to the effect that the Day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Timing ----After middle of the 7 or 1260 days of the tribulation

12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Day of the Lord comes 75 days after the antichrist takes his seat in the Temple of God.

For the righteous it is Great and Glorious

Only Rapture/Resurrection in the Tribulation happens at the Day of the Lord

For the Unrighteous

Ends the time of saved by faith
Saved by works begins
Bowl Judgement begins

See, the Day of the Lord is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.
10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.
11 I will punish the world for its evil,
the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

12 I will make people scarcer than pure gold,

Day of the Lord is the Last Day ending 6000 years and being saved by faith

Day of the Lord begins the 7th day

Day of the Lord begins the Bowl and final judgements when few men are left

Sheep are saved not by faith but by works

Sheep enter the Kingdom with flesh and blood and considered righteous

Zech. 14:16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.
