i was an agnostic until now but recently I’ve been having strange nightmares ever since my mom converted from Hinduism to christianity and I started volunteering at a church for time pass. Around 2025 I had a bad psychotic episode (related to gangstalking) and during that time I had a deep interest in a paranormal content for some reason. despite all the stress I went thru I never had any nightmares about demons or ghosts at that time and it was more related to whatever current issue I thought was going on. Anyways I got better around march 2025 on medication. It was not until 1 year later after my grandfather had passed in December 2025 (still no nightmares despite the stress), this summer that i Started having sudden reoccurring nightmares about the Annabelle doll for some reason the (the actual doll not the movie one).

I remember one day I was scrolling on TikTok and saw a video about the Warrens Museum where Annabelle was located and I really wanted to visit for some reason. Then suddenly my mom started talking about Annabelle (movie version probably) on the phone. I thought it was a coincidence but I kept having weird dreams about the doll with one time it said “I would die before November 20th if I looked at it” but usually I would be in my childhood home and I would be looking at my old collection of dolls and suddenly they start moving and Annabelle shows up. I thought it was all stress but after I started volunteering at church just for timepass I had a weird dream of a woman sexually disrespecting the cross in my house. It was so oddly specific and I told her to “stop bc it was disrespectful“ even if I’m a ”non believer” then a couple days later I had a weird nightmare of being possessed or something being in my room and I woke up IN THE DREAM, nothing was in the room and looked into the mirror there was a black cat. I don’t even believe that black cats are haunted I think they’re cute. And I woke up irl and nothing at all was there. I told my moms pastor when she was getting baptized about these sudden nightmares and he said I had some spiritual attachment from when I was watching all demonic stuff and prayed for me.

Yesterday night i was sleeping in my room with the wall next to me and the window is opposite to my bed but it’s covered in a classic blinder curtain. It’s around 5 AM and I see two 10 inch, parallel bright white stripes on my wall like an “=“ sign and it wasn’t coming from a car outside bc it was SO bright and my hand didn’t cause any shadows when I touched it. It wasn’t a hallucinations either bc when I moved my head, it was still there, after 30 seconds it disappeared. the next morning coincidentally the 2 pastors showed up bc my mom was recently baptized and they put some sort of oil thru the house and I told them about what i saw last night and they said it was probably a sign from Jesus that he’s there?

do u think u can develop demonic attachments from watching paranormal videos? Is it just bad dreams or spiritual warfare? Do u think dreams can really tell the date of death or is it a demon or my mind’s stress trying to scare me? Do u think the = sign was a sign from god or something mocking him?

We are allowed to choose what spirit we want to follow. And we are given the light of Christ which helps us distinguish between good and evil. When we choose the good, then we are more in-line with the teachings of Jesus Christ. But when we choose the evil then we are more in line with Lucifer.

Often we are tempted to choose evil and those who submit have made the wrong choice. And we all have been there. The goal is to choose to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. So when we are tempted then the correct decision is the one that Jesus teaches. We learn Jesus' instructions from Christian teachers, pastors, brothers and sisters, etc.

So draw close to Jesus. Do not associate with those who divert you away from Jesus. You will find peace.

Stay away from wicked and evil influences. It is hard to do in our godless culture. There is only one answer. STAY CLOSE TO JESUS.

Everything you have said is ambiguous, it could go either way. Nothing screams spiritual events nor simple nightmares and coincidence. If you are worried about some spiritual attack though I would stay away from the Warren museum. I knew multiple people who had direct connections with the Warrens and if Ed Warren felt something was too dangerous to break the spell on and instead kept it in what he considered a safe place, the museum, I would stay away if I had any concerns. Why would you want to get close to something that dangerous?

Absolutely you can be oppressed by demons if you get involved in the occult (i.e paranormal). Dreams are meaningless unless they are from God. It's usually clear if they are from God. Find a believer who knows their authority and power in Christ to drive out demons. Oils might smell nice, but demons don't respond to them. They must obey the name of Jesus.

I suggest you drown out everything in your mind/spirit that is not of God and start reading who God says we are, through Jesus Christ. 'Give NO place to the devil and he MUST flee' God has said. I used to be a non believer and procrastinator.. that if there was a god I could spend the youth of my life having fun and final,y convert when I’m older. And so I was very bored and I wanted to experience some thrill/fear by possibly visiting the museum bc other ppl went and they were safe. There were some weird coincidences like when I saw that video about the warrens museum my mom started talking about the Annabelle (movie version) on the phone. Also that these dreams happened long after periods of stress or when I was watching that paranormal content, if it was really stress it would have happened during these periods of stress and for some reason it was always nightmares about the real Annabelle raggedy Anne doll, although I have watched videos on multiple paranormal stuff. I don’t plan on visiting the museum and don’t watch that paranormal content anymore it was interesting and a good timePass yea but I didn’t know simply watching it can invite demonic oppression

I wasn’t directly involved in any sort of occult even when I was a nonbeliever I thought ppl who worshipped satan were crazy more like I was just had an obsession with “demonic houses” and possessed dolls during my psychotic episode and when I got extremely bored at home. Personally I don’t think anybody can be possessed by “demons” unless they willingly practice satanism and the occult. Any believer who claimed to be “possessed” sounds like schizophrenia to me cus god wouldn’t let that happen. Hauntings imo can only happen if someone had purposely invited demons by performing rituals or the house happened to be built on an unlucky spot haunted by negative energy (ex. A battlefield )

One does not need to be directly involved in the occult to be possessed. Usually, those people get convinced to choose to cooperate with Satan, and do not need to be possessed. Possession is far more often (still very rare, I might have encountered one such case in over 30 years of knowing what to look for) when someone is experiencing problems and an evil spirit notices, acts to make the situation worse, then appears as a friendly, nice spirit offering to assist, if the person with the problems will just let them into their life for long enough to resolve the problem. The spirit, if allowed in, merely declines to leave.

Personally, you'd be wrong. Sorry to be so blunt, but I've had 50 years of experience to draw on. There are all kinds on demons. Any addiction has a demon behind it.

The word "possess" is not in the Bible. It is literally "demonised". I had an occult spirit from birth, courtesy of my occult bound relatives. It can be hereditary. As a family, we did not have demon worship or satanism. We did have a demon living in the house for several years. It left after a Christian family moved next door to us. The neighbour's child came to play with us. I was about 7 years old. The demon threw a book at her and left for good.

Witchcraft is fundamentally about control. I had power that were absolutely not natural. I used to read occult books often. I knew it was evil but I was drawn like a magnet. Eventually, after I was born again, someone saw that I had a problem. The demon was cast out and I lost all interest in the occult.

Demons do not ask or require your permission. I was crossing at the lights with my daughter. We were almost hit by a car that did not stop in time. My daughter, about 3 at the time, was terrified. She picked up a spirit of fear that I had to cast out.

"God would not let that happen". A lot lot of bad things happen and God allows it. There are spiritual principles that God set out and abides by. For example, our words have great power. When someone frequently says, "I'm worried sick", don't be surprised if they get ill. God warns us in His word about the power of the tongue. And worry is sin, because it is disobedience.

Another of God's principles is that we reap what we sow. It's not punishment. It is simply God being true to Himself. Hopefully people learn to "sow" what is good and right and not "sow" what is evil.

That's wise for you to reach out to Christians. There are no other religions that have the power to get rid those damned creatures.
In fact, the world's religions actually make it worse for the people they harm.

I have dealt with demons like the ones you're likely talking about. The difference was that they possessed a catholic friend who tried to take my life. By the Holy Spirit and Jesus they were cast out and defeated. That is figuratively represented by the picture I chose. From time to time in life, they attack through others, but I don't worry for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

This is not a DIY thing. These are powerful spirit creatures.
God literally must be involved.
He makes it clear in His instruction manual, the KJV Bible, that it starts with you making very important decisions one simply step at a time. He will do the hard part.
Afterwards, there are daily things that will keep them from you.
Don't worry because He will be with you and the Holy Spirit will live in you, so the demons cannot come in the rest of your life.

I have work to tend to, but will check back later to help after we take care of the first matter.
It will be a major blessing to say the least. I will provide it in my following post.

The gangstalkers are the demons. They are impossible to detect unless they want to mislead or torment you.
I would not look for God's signs in the appearance of lights on the wall or floating around.
He is very specific and clear about His will.
That's what He gave us the Bible for. He made sure that it's written down in black and white for us to read any time we want to, just like we will do together now.


I went to a lot of different churches growing up and was wondering what is required to go to Heaven when I die. I had already had many close calls by the time I was a teenager.
Perhaps you have that question too.

Every church I recall told us we had to do good works to get to Heaven. Living a life of good certainly improves our lives in so many ways. That's why the Lord gave His people instructions on how to please Him and appropriate behavior that makes life much better. However, those good works must be differentiated from His requirement for salvation.

One day a man knocked on my door and cared enough to show me from the Bible where I had been mistaken. We all know that Jesus paid for ALL of our sins, past present and future. He suffered crucifixion on the cross, was buried in the tomb and arose the third day.
The part that I was confused about was my part. What did I have to do to be saved?

Some churches led me to believe that I had to do good works, sacraments, turning from/ quit sinning, clean up my life, get baptized, etc. Those are all good works.
The man who visited me cared enough to show where I was wrong from the Bible.

Ephesians 2:8
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Grace is God's kindness that we do not earn or deserve.
Faith is a trust spoken about in John 3:16 KJV and uses the word believe. Jesus is the sole Object of that trust and it's not in ourselves.
Salvation is the gift from God.
God the Father so loved the world that HE GAVE His only begotten Son.
The Son gave His life in atonement for our sins, not we ourselves.
We receive it by His grace through faith in Jesus.
Salvation is not earned by any of our works.
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I am so very grateful that he shared that important fact with me. I had the cart before the horse. I was misled to think growing up that all the commands in the Bible applied to salvation when in fact we all have broken many commands.
Revelation 21:8 KJV lists sins like fear and lying as those who shall go to the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.
I've certainly told lies before, been fearful and unbelieving in Christ. Have you ever done any of those? According to God's word, where do we deserve to go, Heaven or Hell?
That's a humbling thing, but before anyone can be saved, they need to acknowledge this fact.

The way I was wrongly taught growing up a Catholic and some protestant churches, was that my good works had to be added to what Jesus already did, as if His sacrifice was not enough. It's the pride of man that exalts his own good works as we know that when it comes to getting saved, "all of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags."
Isaiah

That means we are already condemned to Hell. John 3:18,36
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
People trust in their own ways to be saved and as sincere as they are, they are sincerely wrong. That goes for many ministers too.

But notice that Salvation from sins and the consequences of going to Hell/condemnation has been paid in full. How do we receive that gift that Jesus paid for when He suffered in our place, died and arose the third day?
It is told to us exactly 100 times in the gospel of John. Believe is the word. This word does not just mean to know about Him, it means to trust because we are saved by His grace through faith.
The object of that is Who?

Jesus Christ Who is absolute perfect God and Man.
He is the only One qualified to pay for sins. As man He could suffer and die in our place to save us from death in Hell. As God, He is the One Who brings us peace and life with the Father.

We must acknowledge the fact that He is able and WILL do what He promises by imparting to us His gift of everlasting life.
The gift has been paid in full and we add nothing to it at all.
He offers it to you now and I will lead you in a simple prayer to Him, asking for that.

Dear Jesus,
I am a sinner in need of salvation. I deserve the punishment of Hell, but thank You for suffering torture and dying for me. I know that You were buried in a tomb and arose the third day.
I know that my good works can Not save or add anything to that.
I'm deciding right now to trust You alone to save me and take me to Heaven whenever I die.
Thank You for Your promise and gift of Everlasting Life.
Amen

11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

As HAH has pointed out and I will summarize, there is power in the spoken word.

So, say out loud the prayer HAH has given you to pray.

Or, if you want a shorter prayer simply say out loud, "Jesus, I choose you to be my God and Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

And then learn the Savior's doctrine.

The last part of the prayer is like your official signature where you claim the authority of Jesus Christ in your communication to God. You may not need it, but I like the formality.

When you accept Jesus, then he accepts you. You become his, like he becomes yours. It is a close personal relationship with God.

So speak your prayer out loud, in private, and softly if you like. And he rewards you openly. Not with worldly gifts of power, but with spiritual gifts and things from God, like peace, love, compassion, friendship, etc., and eternal life with Jesus forever.

And eternal life is our goal which is a free gift from Jesus Christ. To live forever with our family and friends who also accept Jesus as their God and Savior.

I do not instantly dismiss your interest nor evidence in the invisible/visible realm entirely, but before we begin to take on looking into 1John 4:1 paranormal, we are advised to "first" (Matthew 6:33) elevate and secure Christ's life, power and righteousness as Lord before moving on into these things. Again, I am not dismissing it, nor am I dismissing what the Father in heaven may be leading you to. Once His power has been "first" given a season to grow to receive His equipping, you won't go around asking others, , "Do you think, ,"!

I remember one day I was scrolling on TikTok and saw a video about the Warrens Museum where Annabelle was located and I really wanted to visit for some reason. Then suddenly my mom started talking about Annabelle (movie version probably) on the phone. I thought it was a coincidence but I kept having weird dreams about the doll with one time it said “I would die before November 20th if I looked at it” but usually I would be in my childhood home and I would be looking at my old collection of dolls and suddenly they start moving and Annabelle shows up. I thought it was all stress but after I started volunteering at church just for timepass I had a weird dream of a woman sexually disrespecting the cross in my house. It was so oddly specific and I told her to “stop bc it was disrespectful“ even if I’m a ”non believer” then a couple days later I had a weird nightmare of being possessed or something being in my room and I woke up IN THE DREAM, nothing was in the room and looked into the mirror there was a black cat. I don’t even believe that black cats are haunted I think they’re cute. And I woke up irl and nothing at all was there. I told my moms pastor when she was getting baptized about these sudden nightmares and he said I had some spiritual attachment from when I was watching all demonic stuff and prayed for me.

Yesterday night i was sleeping in my room with the wall next to me and the window is opposite to my bed but it’s covered in a classic blinder curtain. It’s around 5 AM and I see two 10 inch, parallel bright white stripes on my wall like an “=“ sign and it wasn’t coming from a car outside bc it was SO bright and my hand didn’t cause any shadows when I touched it. It wasn’t a hallucinations either bc when I moved my head, it was still there, after 30 seconds it disappeared. the next morning coincidentally the 2 pastors showed up bc my mom was recently baptized and they put some sort of oil thru the house and I told them about what i saw last night and they said it was probably a sign from Jesus that he’s there?

Yes. You have to cut off demonic attachments. If you are continuing in rebellion or sin against God demonic attacks will happen. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ above all, you must repent (change your mind) so that means completely submitting yourself to God, trusting in Him, on His Word and His understanding and not of our own., pray and start fasting and read the holy bible I only read kjv and try to spend time in the Bible (and not on a phone or computer) but an actual book of the holy bible. Draw closer to God and he will draw closer to you. We must deny our flesh everyday, and when you fast the Holy Spirit will be able to come in to you.

Yes. You have to cut off demonic attachments. Demons feed on fear. You cannot be afraid and if you experience demonic attacks you must rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ with no fear. Ghosts do not exist only demons, so do not continue to focus and feed on the negative which is what demons love. If you are continuing in rebellion or sin against God demonic attacks will happen. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ above all, you must repent (change your mind) trusting in Him alone and confessing your sin to Him, if we confess our sins He who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, you have to completely submit yourself to God, trust in Him, on His Word and His understanding and not of our own., pray and start fasting and read the holy bible I only read kjv and try to spend time in the Bible (and not on a phone or computer) but an actual book of the holy bible. Draw closer to God and he will draw closer to you. We must deny our flesh everyday, and when you fast the Holy Spirit will be able to come in to you. Only put your focus on Jesus.
 
If you read the Holy Bible continually everyday and focus on Him alone he will be able to help you. So do not fear and trust in Him. I also recommend a wonder bible. I have one it is kjv I bought on Amazon years ago, looks like a radio box and only helps me rest when nothing else does. You can also listen to prayers for exorcisms against wicked spirits, and I also recommend playing church bells as well. Church bells repel demons. If you having anything demonic in your home you have to get rid of it as well.

With what you described, you need to turn to Christ as did your mom. As do all non-believers, but being claimed by Christ will overturn any legal claim these entities have on you. Jesus Christ purchased all of those who believe on Him with His own blood (that we may not perish, but have eternal life).
