I had an intense experience a few nights ago when finding Jesus!. I was in tears and could feel the love and power of him take over me!. Has anyone else had this experience?.

We all have different levels of experiences when meeting
The Lord Jesus Christ. Mine was low intensity, but, somehow I "knew in my
heart that something was different". Later, studying His Precious Word Of Truth,
I found out He Gave me The Following:
"And The PEACE Of God, Which passeth all understanding, shall Keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7 cp Romans 5:1 AV)

Back in my early teens God woke me up from my bed and filled with me his spirit.I remember having my head in my hands trying to fight it before his spirit completely took over my body.The feeling was unbelievable.Everything in the world felt different.The air was not the same,I felt light on my feet.
The power of his spirit was unbelievable.Love overfilled me,for God is love.I could especially feel it in my heart and it gave a tickling sensation.
It felt like my body was not my own,but I was looking through the eyes of another.

How did you find God if you don't mind me asking?I'm glad that you answered God's calling for you.Just remember to stay in his word and get right back up if you fall.Satan will cast doubt in your mind to not try to stand back up.Don't let that doubt get to your heart.

Praise God, God is still Working, and Calling us all! 
A real "spiritual awakening" often cannot be fully explained, and different
experiences take place for and with different people. In time, one may surely come to
realize the "real deal" or just a passing "thing". It should never be taken lightly,
and in due time a testimony may come about. The heart shall surely come to bear witness.
Everyone's experience is different. I have heard some people claim they just sort of drifted into it. C.S. Lewis said that his conversion to theism was a struggle, but after that, he was still not a Christians. But sometime later, while traveling to some destination by car he departed while not a Christian and arrived as one. I have heard other people describe their experience as being like they were slammed up against a wall by God.
It was a quiet moment for me, early one morning while laying in bed I was led to pray and gave my lid to the Lord. At times this has made me doubt my salvation because it wasn’t a big emotional, loud, bring you out of a huge life trial kind of thing. When I feel like that I am always reminded that my life has changed and I am not the same person I was before; I have dropped some bad things (with no desires to turn back to) and picked up lots of good things. It is different for everyone because God created us all different and comes into our lives in different ways.

Hi NewFoundFaith glad you are joining us, welcome to CC! My dad Jewish and mom Catholic but at 8 when I went across the street to a FourSquare Church VBS, that opened my eyes. I was walking back home after learning about the Trinity, looked up and just knew that there has to be a great being who created all the world. I thought all this has to have a reason and loved the fact that we will be with our loved ones forever. God bless you and yours!
