It's so "obvious" that women see marriage as "long-term prostitution" that ChatGPT could easily explain it to me? And how many women do you know who have expressed that opinion to you? Or it just speculation on your part?
It's so obvious for the women whose husband only marry them to fulfill their perfectly "fine" desire for sex and not much anything else.
Great. More adages, instead of actual data. You seem to like these a lot.
What makes data "actual" data? Verified by whom? In contrast, such adages are actual adages of distilled wisdom. You don't like it, go away and don't reply.

How many of these sorts of husbands exist? How do you know how widespread this phenomenon really is?

So your definition of "data" includes such pithy sayings as "All happy families are alike, each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." Um, OK, then. Or it's not data, it's just "distilled wisdom." Apparently, nobody should bother with marriages because of quotable lines that are passed off as "distilled wisdom."

Um, OK, then.

So many good examples of marriage 💑 out there.
Be positive, folks.
Or be the positive one.
If one doesn't see that, maybe should start self examination.

I am a woman, if I have bf that's only into sexual immorality, I should really examine myself. If I am married, I should stay in marriage faithfully to honor God's covenant.

For man, if a man only see bad examples around him. Maybe he should examine himself. Why he is not around better crowd? No one is righteous, but there are better crowd out there. Get involved with pure and holy people 😍

You tell me. You're the one who justified such desire as "OK" and "fine".

If you worship "data" as the highest authority, so be it. You should apply for a job in Google or NSA, those are the overlords of "data".

You said that there's men out there, or Christian men out there, who get married only so they can have sex. Can you prove this or no? Maybe you're a mind reader? Or is it just a hunch that you have?

And yes, the desire for romance/marriage/sex is a normal human desire. We can fulfill this desire in healthy and godly ways. We can also fulfill this desire in sinful and harmful ways.

The desire for food is also a normal human desire. We can fulfill this desire in healthy and godly ways, and live healthy lives. We can also fulfill this desire in sinful and harmful ways, and become unhealthy gluttons. See what I mean?

I guess we should make your pithy adages the highest authority, then. And avoid marriage altogether, based on little more than these pithy adages.

Or how about striving to be pure and holy yourself by saving yourself for Jesus, not a hypothetical husband? As a woman, you may be interested to know that you're empowered by God to overcome insecurity and anxiety, you're armed with the helmet of salvation and the shield of faith, why do you still seek validation from men when you are already a beloved daughter of God? Why do you throw yourself into the mating market when you're already bought with the precious blood of Christ? Why do you look for bondage and "positive examples" of that when you're already set free?

How about not speculating about people's supposed hidden motives? I know it's a big ask for you, but still......

See, you're the one who repeatedly justified it as "normal", not me having a "hunch" or reading mind. "Long term prostitution" is just the logical outcome when fulfilling such "normal" desire is the only incentive for marriage.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word proceeds from the mouth of God.

The highest authority is God, who appointed all lower authorities, Rom. 13:1-7.

Also, as God the highest authority as my witness, I've never avoided marriage, there's no marriage to avoid in the first place. Over 34 pages and beyond, you still fail to understand that a normal person notices somebody and desires them first, then maybe, the prospect of marriage would be considered, instead of jumping into marriage straightforward, as though such a remote possibility is already a robustly established option.

The working assumption you seem to be operating under is that people get married only for sex. How do you know this?

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word proceeds from the mouth of God.

What does that have to with anything I just said?

The highest authority is God, who appointed all lower authorities, Rom. 13:1-7.

OK. So, uh, when did God forbid Christians from marrying? Or desiring marriage? Or pursuing marriage?

Yes, and some people desire to be married one day, in general. Apparently, you still fail to understand this. Or you do understand that this is a real thing, and yet view it as a mortal sin or something.

Don't ask me, you're the one who frequently quoted 1 Cor. 7:2.
What does that have to with anything I just said?
Jesus desired for bread, he was literally hungry, that was his response.
OK. So, uh, when did God forbid Christians from marrying? Or desiring marriage? Or pursuing marriage?
When you only desire marriage for sex, which is "perfectly normal" according to you.
Yes, and some people desire to be married one day, in general. Apparently, you still fail to understand this. Or you do understand that this is a real thing, and yet view it as a mortal sin or something.
A truly faithful and secure believer doesn't desire for marriage to become complete. They know they belong to Christ already. And because they belong to Him, they never have to desire another person to complete them.

Don't ask me, you're the one who frequently quoted 1 Cor. 7:2.

1 Corinthians 7:2? Wait, so Paul said that it might be better for someone to marry if the have strong sexual desires? Well, gee, look at that.

Jesus desired for bread, he was literally hungry, that was his response.

Did Jesus, from that point on, literally stop eating bread? Or did he stop eating food altogether?

When you only desire marriage for sex, which is "perfectly normal" according to you.

I said that it's normal for many people to desire sex. I did not say that anyone should get married just to have sex.

"Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

So all the people who desire marriage in general are guilty of lust. Wow. You really are quite the mind reader, haha.

Hahaha 😄 😄 😄
In that assumption, all people who don't desire marriage are ?????? I don't want to say it.

It is called self righteousness, assume other people all bad.

Yeah. We all know at this point that Lovette is single and content with his own singleness. But, apparently, all of Christendom needs to become exactly like Lovette.

Of course, when Paul taught about this very issue, he also said that he was single and content with his own singleness. But Paul also admitted that not everyone is exactly like him. And that he had no commandment from God on this issue. And that you're not sinning by marrying.

Oops!

absolutely 💯.
No need to put extra lock to believers, no need for circumcision as OT jews.

1 Cor. 7:2 is for married couples only, "let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.“ The implication is not for singles to get married, but for husbands and wives to NOT committing adultery outside of wedlock.
Did Jesus, from that point on, literally stop eating bread? Or did he stop eating food altogether?
Did he equate sex with bread, or libido with appetite, or used another person's body to fulfil his own desires?
I said that it's normal for many people to desire sex. I did not say that anyone should get married just to have sex.
Just because something's common doesn't mean it's normal. It might be normal for you, born and raised in a post sexual liberation culture, but not for me, born and raised in a culture that had never experienced sexual liberation.

Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her and lay with her, and violated her. His soul was strongly attracted to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the young woman and spoke kindly to the young woman. So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying, “Get me this young woman as a wife.

Then why so relentlessly pushing wedLOCK to believers? If Jesus is truly enough, why do you still desire that "extra" to supplement his sufficient grace?
