I speak for married stay married, singles stay single.Um, I'm saying that singleness is not for everyone. Something both Jesus and Paul said. This has nothing to do with me speaking for "all." Are you simply misunderstanding my grammar? It kinda seems like it, to be honest.
Do you speak for "all" when you say that all single Christians should stay single?
By all means it is what Paul said, 1 Cor. 7:27.Is that what Jesus said? No. Is that the only thing that Paul said? No. But, by all means, stay single if you want.
No, it's an imaginary thing when you don't know either whom to marry and why you desire marriage. If God intended to join you with a spouse, you'd be married already, you wouldn't be here. But marriage is a godly thing. The first marriage happened in Paradise, when the world was perfect. In Mark 10:9 Jesus mentions God joining people together, so how can it be purely worldly thing?
I'll also note that you didn't give a clear "yes" to my question. Why is that? Because the Bible has no explicit instruction requiring singleness for every Christian? Well, gee, how interesting.
Then why quoting him, since it's just his personal opinion? Also, the implication here is that Paul somehow "instructed" Christians to stay single.
That's interesting, because Paul explicitly says in 7:6 that he's not giving a command here concerning singleness. And in 7:25 he explicitly says that he has no commandment from God on this issue.
Also, what IS commandment from God is no divorce, you get married, you're hooked to that person forever, no second chance, so you better think it through.
