Hi everyone! My name is Zoey.

Im 27 and have been a Christian since 2011.

Lately my faith has been a difficult uphill battle. I joined here in hopes of growing closer to the Lord through fellowship and focus.

I would love to get to know you all and maybe make some new friends!

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

know that the devil never stops tempting, stealing, killing & destroying. he's bothering you & he's winning for now. cast him out!!! learn James 4:7. write rhyming notes & post them thru out your house. repeat them as often as you can. make it fun & you will win. here's a few i created: "do your best to pass a test & you shall rest", "trust & you will not rust", "sin & you live thin, pray & obey & you will not pay"!

btw, there is a huge problem with talented teaching preaching pastors in america, 1 of them is they don't structure sermons in a fun way. i've only known 1 pastor who made attending his church fun. he always started off with 3 jokes.

Ours is like that. He tells stories about his life to make it relatable and shows little clips and quotes from movies and things to make you smile just enough that it makes it interesting but doesnt take your focus off the message.

He makes it memorable in a way that is fun :)

We once had an entire father's day service while watching the movie Creed and breaking into it with biblical lessons from the movie.

It was fun!

It really was! It was so much fun :D

My dad is a strong Christian but he doesnt go to church because he has a major anxiety disorder and our congregation averages 300+ people per service.

Grams and I enjoyed it though:)
