Brothers and sisters,

I write to you not as an enemy, but as one who has spent a lifetime in the Scriptures you claim to defend. And I must speak plainly, because the disease among you is not ignorance — it is pride.

You have become teachers who no longer tremble at the Word of God. You insult one another, dismiss one another, and exalt your systems above Scripture itself. You speak as though your opinions were revelation, and you treat those who disagree as lesser minds.

This is not boldness. This is not discernment. This is the flesh.

The prophets warned of this spirit. Jesus rebuked it. Paul confronted it. James condemned it. John exposed it.

And now I must confront it in you.

You accuse me of “playing all sides,” yet it is you who bend Scripture to fit your systems. You accuse me of lacking humility, yet it is you who speak as though your interpretations were infallible. You accuse me of causing chaos, yet it is your pride that has turned correction into combat and fellowship into factions.

Hear me teachers! A teacher who cannot be corrected by Scripture is no teacher at all.

You have forgotten that the Word of God is not your servant. It is your judge.

You have forgotten that knowledge without love is noise.
You have forgotten that zeal without truth is destruction.
You have forgotten that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom — not the fear of being wrong.

I urge you, as one who has spent forty years in the languages, manuscripts, and witness of Scripture, return to the text.
Lay down your systems.
Lay down your pride.
Lay down your insults.
Lay down your self‑righteous certainty.

Let the Word cut you before you wield it.
Let the Spirit humble you before you teach.
Let Christ be your center, not your ego.

If you continue as you are, you will not merely mislead others —you will blind yourselves.

But if you repent of this pride, if you return to the Scriptures with trembling hands and open hearts, then God — who opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble — will restore clarity, unity, and truth among you.

I speak this not to shame you, but to awaken you.

The Word of God is holy. Handle it as those who will give account.

Yes, our need is to be learners of God's Word, which is why I began the thread "What folks have learned via CC discussions."
The basis of the Word of God's judgment is indicated in 2Thes. 2:10: Whether or not one is a truthseeker or lover of truth.

Are these your words or from the name at the end is that you ? and is the context of this written to those on a Chat site?

I ask this because if it is to a "Chat site." One lacks discernment. And i will tell you why. There is no correction on a chat site because there is no one who is in the position of authority other than the founder and Admin. If one disagrees and will not hear ones "correction." and is seen by the one who believes they are here to correct error, instead of providing the word and let the word speak over listing this:

"I urge you, as one who has spent forty years in the languages, manuscripts, and witness of Scripture, return to the text.

comes across as one who see themselves as one of authority in one setting Your church or fellowship yet not accepted in chat site. Then is going to use what look like one prophesying correction. The idea of correction when most here don't even provide their real name, or lying about age or gender in some situations or come on under the influence of something. You lack discernment.

Just a humble observation. And I could be wrong. That is something you never see said here LOL.

“Brother, the words are mine — not a prophecy, not a claim of authority, and not spoken from a pulpit.
They were written because Scripture commands correction wherever error is spoken, not only in buildings with steeples.”

“A chat site does not remove the obligation to speak truth.A chat site does not suspend the commands of Ephesians 4:29.A chat site does not exempt believers from Jude 3.A chat site does not erase Galatians 6:1.And a chat site does not make pride, insults, or false teaching harmless.”

Authority is not the point. Scripture is the authority.

“I did not speak as an administrator.
I did not speak as a founder.
I did not speak as one claiming rank.
I spoke as a brother who has watched Scripture twisted, demeaned, and weaponized — and Scripture itself requires a response.”

“Discernment is not measured by whether the room accepts correction.
Discernment is measured by whether the correction aligns with the text.”

“If anonymity, false names, drunkenness, or deception are present, that does not mean correction is forbidden — it means correction is needed even more.”

“You may be right that many will not listen.
But obedience is not measured by results — it is measured by faithfulness.
And if I am wrong in tone, I will gladly be corrected.
But if the Scripture I quoted is right, then the setting does not change the obligation.”

Ok understand however, this post doesn't address any biblical error. That you posted. It seems to sound like one who has an issue with those who did not accept your biblical refuting of whatever you believe God gave you, from the word. To provide understanding, concerning the error of false teaching. If you have a topic or subject or doctrine that is error, false or wrong. Why Not just address that instead? I agree with what is said but you if it had more context as to what your were speaking about directly, over a general observation. I think would be more edifying.

What was the subject that you were led to post this about?

Thank you,

Better to understand scripture as a complete message, not bits and pieces.
We are not going to find some old ruin of ark and start worshipping a piece of old wood.

This is the reason going to an in person church gathering is the best way to grow, if physically able.

If not, using internet small group, people face to face, look into each other, know each other background, not anonymous. That's good too.

Hold each other accountable, iron sharpen iron.

“It was not about a doctrine.
It was about the ungodly way Scripture was being handled —the pride, the insults, the contempt, the refusal to hear the Word at all.”

That’s the whole context.
Not prophecy.
Not authority.
Not ego.
Not rank.

Just obedience to:
Galatians 6:1 — restore with meekness
2 Timothy 2:25 — correct with gentleness
Ephesians 4:29 — speak what edifies
Jude 3 — contend for the faith
James 1:20 — man’s anger does not produce God’s righteousness

ok. So that is not an issue here, you just were providing a general understanding the pride, the insults, the contempt, the refusal to hear the Word at all.” No matter the setting?

When I try to look at your credentials, im only getting Dr. Brandon Crowe.

Do you have a link?

The problem I often see is people don't like the clear meaning of scripture, so they have to go outside the Bible to find justification for saying the clear meaning isn't in fact clear, but means something completely different.

Can you give a direction to where you teach, or something of that nature.?
I am teaching right here, If my background is your hangup then test the words. Read the scripture and find my fault. But if im right, what then? Another excuse to judge me?
Nothing I have said in this room is about me. Why?
Because this is a room to share the scripture and focus on the truth of his words.
It's not me everyone is having issues with. It's the scripture.

No, I am not out on the road trying to sell the Gospel, Of course I don't have a link. Does anyone read the bible anymore?

Props for giving you name and title. There's people on here iv been talking with for over 6 months that won't even give a first name. So some respect there.

We get alot of members who think their Bible scholars , but rarely ever get a legit one. So you've made a courageous stance by presenting yourself, how can i get to know your understandings better by being able to look at something additional.?

Here are the mireprestations you've made about me in your last 2 posts.

1) I accused you of selling the gospel.
2) that im out of line asking if you would back up what you've said about yourself.
3) that i don't read the Bible.
4) that asking for credentials is my hangup.
5) that im looking for some excuse to judge you.
6) that some how im fixated on you and not what your attempting to teach.

Im going to give you a pass on those things.
You've dove into this forum with well intentions, and because maybe this is your first time on a site like this, you experiencing the frustration we all feel from time to time. Just take a deep breath and try not to take things personally.

I just thought since you bravely gave your name and title, you would be excited to show more about your understandings. Beyond what is discussed here.

If I've offended you, I withdraw my request with apologies.
