What happened to...Eve?

Just wondering

After Adam and Eve left the garden, and their son Cain murdered Abel, she had Seth...but was that all?
Did she have any more children, and what what did she do with her life aside from having children and avoiding serpents? Did she set up a clothing business? Did she and Adam stay together or did they blame each other for the situation they found themselves in?
I keep thinking Eve wasn't that bright, but then we all do stupid things when we are young.

What do you think?

I personally think that Adam and Eve were monogamous and stayed together their entire life. After the fall, neither were perfect, That includes Adam. I definitely do not think that means that Eve was not bright. She was the first woman God created. I think she was a very bright woman. Just because the Bible often doesn't talk about women's lives doesn't mean they weren't smart, productive, brave, hard working, etc.
Also, her and Adam had "other sons and daughters." ~ Genesis 5:4

Just my thoughts on the topic.

Genesis 5:4 says he had other sons and daughters after Seth.

After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
(Genesis 5:4 NIV)
 
Well thats a bit boring didn't she and Adam do anything else...?

And how did she die? I mean...was it a slow death or what, it says how old Adam was when he died but not Eve.

Does anyone not imagine she had a life of her own?

Adam was a farmer so she was a farmer's wife. Taking care of all her children, cooking meals, teaching them stuff, playing with them, and doing it all while pregnant. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve.

But who was making all the clothes. Sounds like a lot of ...labour.
And what was Adam doing for 800 years? Toiling and digging, naming all the animals? Getting Eve pregnant?
 
He had to hunt and fish too. Both of them were very busy. I'm sure the kids helped when they were old enough, then the older kids would help raise the younger ones, and so on..

What's weird is if they were all brothers and sisters, they still had to procreate with each other because there was no other people. That's why we're all brothers and sisters.
 
But what's also weird is that Adam and Eve are not related to each other. Each was created individually.

Well am not sure. I kind of thought Abel was raising flocks for their wool/yarn to make clothing. Not for eating. Or maybe they had leather (skins?)

I thought only after the flood were humans permitted to kill animals for food and eat them.

Yea they were probably the first vegetarians. Maybe they ate a lot of beans and rice to get complete protein (no missing amino acids). Wonder how they got enough B-12 though.

Or maybe they didn't need to eat that much, or the food was way better then. Maybe you are overthinking it.

I thought Adam was tilling the soil, but it didn't mention any rice paddy..or what kind of grain they had. Must have been one they could make bread out of - so wheat, barley...corn?
 
Scripture is actually very straightforward: before the fall and long before the flood, God gave them plants, fruit, and seed‑bearing vegetation as their food (Genesis 1:29), and nothing in the text suggests they ate meat at any point before Genesis 9.

Abel offered God the firstling of his flock and the 'fat' of the lamb but I wondered if this could mean just the oil/sheep grease i.e the lanolin!

I can't imagine Abel cutting up or sacrificing his firsborns that early in the beginning. But then maybe I am completely wrong and he did kill them/sacrifice them before he got slain by Cain.
And that was deemed acceptable by God, rather than just the fruits Cain picked up from the ground as his offering.

Maybe they didn't actually eat any of the lambs they sacrificed. 🤷‍♀️

Death entered the world in Genesis 3, and God Himself slew the first animal to clothe Adam and Eve. Abel simply walked in the pattern God had already established.
