Jesus purchased the Church of God with his blood:

Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Who did he buy it from?
 
The word "purchase" may be a simplistic way to describe something very complex.

If the penalty of sin is death, The death of one innocent could erase the sin of the world. This balance could be built into the fabric of creation. Dominion of creation that passed from Adam to Satan could be restored to the creator. This recovery mechanism if built into creation, would act as a fail safe to prevent someone like Satan from getting permanent control.

To Whom were the sacrifices in the Old Testament offered? God Himself. Surely those sacrifices pointed to the one final sacrifice for sin, Jesus Christ Himself. So I would say that He paid the price to His heavenly Father.

Sin and consequently, death.

Romans 7:14
For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Interesting. It makes sense that the purchase would have something to do with what happened in the Garden of Eden. Adam's consumption of the forbidden fruit resulted in his God-given dominion over the earth being surrendered or transferred to Satan.

The fix would then be to consume the fruit of the Tree of Life. Could eating the fruit of either tree have something to do with consuming blood?

John 6:53 - Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

John 6:55 - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

The purchase may be rather complex indeed if we begin to factor in all of the clues.

You offer another important piece of the puzzle. Jesus sprinkled his blood in the Most Holy Place:

Hebrews 9:12 - Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

And once again, we have a 'consuming of blood' theme happening:

Isaiah 1:11 - To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

What is also interesting here is that earth drank the blood of Abel:

Genesis 4:11 - And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

Then, Abel's blood is associated with the blood of sprinkling:

Hebrews 12:24 - And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Note that Mystery Babylon drinks blood as well:

Revelation 18:24 - And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

What if the payment had something to do with her? If Mystery Babylon drank the blood of all who were slain, does that include Jesus?
 
From life changing point of view, Jesus pour out his blood to us, we receiving His blood, His blood is in us. We got new life from Jesus.

That's also the reason-> re birth.

Originally we had our birth parents blood. But now we have Jesus blood in us.
