Ray Comfort heads up "Living Waters" ministry. I watched this youtube recently. I think it is spot on when it comes to effective evangelism.

I like Ray's approach with using the Law first to show people they are sinners and then bring in the Gospel.
That is the correct use of the Law. I really like his "parachute" analogy.
Many well meaning saints seem to assume that here in the USA Jesus is a household name. Sadly
that's not the case.As we can tell by what's happening with our education systems.
The church imo starts in the home. Parents are instructed to train up a child in the way they should go.
Sadly I believe we are 3 or maybe more generations behind the times. Hence we have reaped because we did not sow.
I've been entertaining the thought to ask my local schools permission to see if it be possible to have a presentation on what Christianity is and what we believe and why.
Also looking to have a basic Bible study at a public library....both are in prayer at this time.
Satan has tainted and painted Christianity in so many ways and fashions.....I think it needs to be addressed.
Just looking for people to work on this project as a beginning of a pro active action not only here but also in their communities as well.
Your point is well made and exactly why The Living Waters approach is the way to go. I've watched a number of the short youtubes of Ray and his fellow evangelists street witnessing. How much did the crowd that Peter preached to on the day of Pentecost know? They at least knew about sin and God's holiness. But how about the Gentiles in Ephesus or Antioch? Yet the gospel has the power to save still.
This is good stuff. If Christendom were doing its job (looking in the mirror here) the State of Texas, et al, wouldn't need to mandate the display of the Ten Commandments in its public school classrooms.
